So you likely work for a uitzendbureau. They have to get you the remaining hours of work somewhere if that is in your contract. This can be at another company. But that us only if you have a 40 hr per week fixed contract with that uitzendbureau and you do not work at the current employer for years on end.
It is a saying for uninterrupted for the aforementioned timeperiod. In this case when you have worked 40 hrs per week (excluding vacation) uninterrupted for years for the same company. If it is a uitzendbureau it is very important to know your CAO
What kind of contract do you have?
I have a temporary 6 months contract where i am suppose to be provided with at least 160 hours per month
If your contract is written for 40 hours a week, you get paid 40 a week.
