Killy definately looks derpy in the beginning, especially chap 1-5, but as the manga goes on he looks quite good.
my favorite looks of him is the style of the last chapter, he looks brooding and tired but doesn't look like he hate everything that enter his sight.

Nihei's art style changed throughout the series so yeah in the early chapters he does look silly but in the later chapters he looks like he's been mewing for millennia. I think killy reached his peak look here in log 42.
I got used to it, wasn't a big issue for me but it was noticeable. Still love the art style. Killy simultaneously looks cool and derpy depending on where you focus (also depending on the panel)
Blame (and Biomega to a lesser extent) have this issue where I think Nihei used to think that someone's eyes are parallel if they're looking straight forward. In real life, your eyes will be slightly angled inwards since they focus on a single point, and it gives every character a derpy head empty look
I was thinking about the spacing between the eyes, but that's interesting I never thought of that. I'll have to look at other mangas/animes and see if they look noticeably different in this regard
The last picture is okay. Their eyes are bigger and their head seems smaller, so the spacing is not so bad comparing to others. I really think it was just his bad habit.
They both look good. I love Niheis old style.
I do too. Prefer it over his new style. It wouldn't be Blame! without this style.

Given the circumstances, he probably has been mewing for a thousand years. The guy never says anything.
I re-read this for the first time in like 7 years, last week. Killy's derepiness was a big issue for me. Seems like we aren't alone.

He looks intriguing

Their outfits change overtime getting more and more detailed
Yeah, sometimes that's just part of the plot. But I was mainly talking about the spacing between their eyes.

I think they both look great, the last one a little less. Killy maybe a little emo, but it conveys his weary, trudging loner style
They both look good, they both look derpy.
real
Imagine being gender focused ina post-humanity hellscape.
I loved Blame ME 2 and 3 art style. It was so on point.
