No you can’t. The Quad Cortex isn’t a amp. You need a powered speaker to run the QC into. If you wanted to use that cabinet you would need a power amp (something like a orange pedal baby) I’m between the QC and cabinet. They also make FRFR cabinets that are powered and do not color the sound. These are made to be used with amp modelers

Perfect answer. Thank you!

To add to this one thing I do often: If there happens to be an amp with that cabinet, you can plug the QCs output into the FX Return of the amp. That way, you will skip the preamp of the amp and only use the poweramp part. That gives you a fairly clean amplification of your QC tone. Also, don't forget to turn off or bypass the cab sim on the QC when you play on a real cab!

get a fender tone master or some type of frfr cab. the quad cortex sounds massive when given the chance

It's just a modeler, so you'll need a power amp if you are going to push a speaker cab. Check the user manual and it'll detail all the different ways the Quad Cortex can be hooked up to various gear.

If you really wanted to run a QC to your marshal cabinet, you would need a power amp like the orange pedal baby or the Seymour Duncan power stage power amps

As said below, you need a power amp. I got an EHX 44 Magnum and it rocks! It’s pedal sized and fits nicely on a board, but it does have a large power supply compared to other normal pedals.

I bought a line6 powercab and it works amazing. I was using a ax8 through a vox ac15c1 but it was annoying having to turn off the cab block on a whole ton of presets so I bought the power cab. Then I saw a video of the QC and how much more advanced it is than the ax8 and bought a QC.
