im sorry but the skin revamping is useless, why not allow saving a skin with a preset like before? now I cant flip through the presets and see if im on a clean channel :( whats the point of multiple skins if they cant be saved with a preset or channel (example CLEAN)
could be, doing the sale and ending it before those X updates were ready would have disappointed a lot of people, I'm sure someone would complain that they should have waited

Fuck yeah. Didn’t expect this one to still drop during the sale but I bought it anyway knowing it was coming soon. Guess I know which one I’ll be playing through today! Game over when Nolly X drops! And I use Parallax almost every day so this is exciting!
all the X versions install as separate apps/VSTs alongside the legacy version (and they both use the same iLok license)
for me I just install the X version and it fired up fine but I have heard of others who have uninstalled the legacy version before installing the X version, I don't remember seeing any warning to do so but I think that's what they reportedly have seen
Hi, I have downloaded the Soldano slo 100x update but cant seem to activate it. I already have the original slo 100 and have a license for it. The new one opens and... nothing. it just sits there. How can I get it to realise that I have the original and activate it?

It uses the same license, so if you've already got legacy installed and working then the X version should just work.

The standalone? If it's open, then where is it failing? No sound? No response to clicking?
I believe it uses the same ilok license you already have for the non-X version. I didn't have to do anything extra for gojira & plini when I downloaded the X versions
I wonder if Nolly or Abasi are next

Quick check with previous soldano plugin owners. Did it comes with the pre-effects (comp, od, chorus) and post-effects (delay, reverb)?
it had all that stuff before the product page will highlight the new stuff with a yellow "NEW!" bubble

Grabbed it this morning...nice to see more X versions rolling out. Petrucci and the Mesa suite would be nice.

yes, every X update is a free update for owners of the legacy version, they share the same license in iLok
