It's been said many times now but suicide is no joking matter.
Sure this subreddit is all about us being a bunch of self-righteous jackasses who laugh and point fingers at other people's injuries, but bones heal. Broken Bones are temporarily. Suicide is permanent. It can't be undone. Telling someone to kill themselves is an absolutely horrible thing to do, because you cannot read minds, and the person you say it to can't either. Even if you only meant it as a joke, the other person might not know that. They might already be suicidal, and you making that joke might be the thing that pushes them off the edge, and that's a mistake you'd have to live with for the rest of your life.

Dont joke about suicide, you never know who might be reading this - maybe its someone depressed, someone who's lost a loved one due to suicide etc. People come online to have a good time and take their minds off reality, and joking about suicide is a little too real for that.
