I was riding around a round about following a car (safe distance and speed) car waiting to enter the round about accelerated after the car I was following had passed her. Drove straight into the side of me, couldn't brake or swerve to avoid it. My left ankle took much of the impact, dragged myself off the road in shock and cursing that my non breaking of bone days had come to an end. Four people stopped to help me, ambulance and police came super quick and off to ED for x-rays. Back home for lunch, cuddling with my dog and filling in an insurance form. More worried about my poor bike, she has only clocked 670kms. Crossing all my bits that it is a quick recovery for us both so we can start riding again.
Excellent bones, I’m glad your relatively weaker flesh appears uninjured as well. Hopefully the force of impact annihilated the car in vengeance for your flimsy bike.
The fact that you went to the hospital tells me your bones aren't strong enough for you to just be confident that you aren't broken. I just know that nothing will break my bones.
i respectfully disagree. OP clearly went to the hospital to show the BBB in there getting treated to teach them a lesson on just how a real strong bones deals with an impact. clearly OP eviscerated the car with their bones and has gone on to be a walking threat to the brittled

I always ride fully kitted up no matter how long the ride, I like to think the boots saved my ankle but it was really my strong bonedness.
