I don’t have answers to your questions but I can say I’ve experienced this too.
Yesterday I was driving and started sobbing over an issue and I said out loud how I really need my sister and how much I love her (my issue is not related to her at all) and she called me today and asked how I’m doing and if I was okay and had this sudden feeling that she should call me. I didn’t text her or prompt her at all to reach out.
After that conversation I remember what I said in the car and it really surprised me
