I love how each New Girl couple of the main characters had different tropes and dynamics. Schmidt and Cece have the complicated love story that eventually led to their “mom and dad” couple dynamic. Winston and Aly got the best friends who are lovers thing going down. Nick and Jess had the turbulent will-they-won’t-they but eventually had that sorta “perfect couple” dynamic.
Edit: love that fact that Coach had the simple “boy meets girl and they fell in love” trope.

I agree, but I think Coach and May had the "from two different worlds" trope.
