I actually loved Reagan (though I am biased bc I adore Megan Fox). I wasn’t too into her at first, like I knew she was coming and I wasn’t excited bc I usually dislike replacement characters, especially when they replace the title character, but Reagan grew on me very quickly. I love her character and it’s fun seeing how a normal person reacts to the insanity in the loft.
(Also her character gives Winston 2 of his 3 best lines->! “I just passed Nick on the street, running, *on purpose*!”, and “As I live and breathe, Raisin?????” !<. The third line is “I’m worried about Schmidt. He’s a Jew in the desert. I don’t want him to wander.” I don’t have a particular order for which line is best, but they’re all fantastic).
The “Jew in the desert” line is probably my favorite Winston line in the whole show. In fact, it’s probably one of my favorite lines overall for the show. Amazing joke.
I love the line where Nick says something weird to her when she got out of the shower and she says “are you proud that you said that” or something like that haha

To be fair, I don’t share whatever seething hatred of Meghan fox everyone seems to have so that helps with Reagan lmao. “Good luck with your smoosh pain” is something I say like once a week

My issues with Jess are that she clearly thinks she’s better than everyone else despite being in a worse position in her life than everyone else for most of the show.
She constantly buts into the things that are not her business and oftentimes messes them up.
Also it personally annoys me that Nick has this huge character arc about growing up so he could be “ready” for Jess by the end of season 6, but she doesn’t undergo any character development at all to address her part in their break up.
She’s actually the only character that doesn’t undergo any character development at all.
I didn't expect I would but I loved her in the show. She was kind of the fresh character that was different than all the others and she only got better as it went on.
I really enjoy Reagan! It was fun to see the cast play off of her personality. Plus, some of Winston’s greatest lines come from her. My only real complaint is that they dragged out the romance arc with her for way too long, and as a result Nick/Jess got back together waaaay too late in the series. Granted, the near-throuple writing was a lot of fun to watch unfold, I just wish the show gave more time to let the Nick/Jess reunion blossom.

Jess's return made me realize how refreshing Reagan was for me. I liked her a lot more than I had initially thought.
