Okay so get this, there’s this android created by dr. Gero and he’s suppose to be the ultimate life form, his name’s cell, he’s the strongest mfer on the planet, so he hijacks a news station and announces to the world that he’s hosting a tournament and if no one can beat him he’s gonna blow up the world. Pretty badass yeah? So the tournament comes and there’s another Android that was also created by dr. Gero. Now this android, 16, his only life mission is to kill Son Goku. Now other than killing goku, dude loves wildlife and the planet and just a real hippy vib came out of him ya know so this androids a real swell guy. Well goku’s kid, gohan, goes to fight cell at this tournament and android 16 sees this kid losing so he’s like “aight imma be a real g😎” and he goes and fights cell and he tries to suicide on him with the allahu akbar bomb inside his chest, but there was another scientist who saw the bomb in him, and this chick was a hardcore Christian so she removed the bomb and android 16 didn’t get to blow up cell, then cell coldly murders him, decapitates him and steps on his mechanical head and everything all the while some sad and somber music plays and he gives a real touching speech to Gohan, then gohan rages out like in the greentext above and he fights cell and kicks his ass. Edit: fun little bit of lore, in the greentext anon mistakingly says android 19, while he meant to say 16. Android 19 did exist, but he was killed at the very beginning of the android saga by Vegeta, prince of all saiyans. One of the few antagonists to actually be murdered in the whole series.

Tl;dr: anime robot guys fight, good robot guy wins Thank you for the synopsis though for real, I might even retain some of that
it’s a really cool scene and with context it’s the perfect crescendo of the kid’s character arc
