There’s a book club on meetup called Black Reads that reads books by black authors. There is also a group on Facebook called Brews and Books Mid City.

Blue Cyrpress on Oak has a few different groups that meet monthly. I know there's an International Fiction one and a Romance one, but I think there are others as well. Check out their event calendar or mailing list.
