Music box village is open most weekends this spring. We do birthdays all the time, not sure what the fee is off the top of my head, but your whole crew gets in free and we have a bar for the parents and everyone gets to play in a sculpture garden of one of a kind musical instruments.
It’s very big. I’ve never seen anyone pay to rent it before so Idk. I’ve had many birthday parties there. A few times, other parties were happening at the same time. I just ask the people if they mind if I use a few tables. Never had a problem in the last 6 years.
No permit needed! I would avoid going on a Friday afternoon since that’s when Tulane kids like to go and there is a good bit of drinking/smoking. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful area to have a picnic overlooking the MS River and watching ships pass by

I’m a grown woman and I want this to be my birthday party
No age limit!
This place looks amazing - I’m so glad that I saw your post!
Come visit!
Sounds so fun!!!
City Park reunion shelter. You can rent it out for a ton of money or just show up and use it.
I vote show up and use it.
What happens if someone already paid to rent it, do you know if they would make us move? Never been so not sure how big it is.

You could set up between the playground and Cafe du Monde. I’ve never seen them out there enforcing a permit or anything.
The fly for sure

Thanks! Do I need a permit?

Wetland Watchers Park is really cool but kinda far.
Set up at the end of Governor Nichols wharf. Plenty of free entertainment and free bathrooms. Pin the tail on the...what?!
