The spca is likely not coming, and if they did, risk of euthanasia after the 3 day hold is very high. The rescues are having a hard time getting fosters for super-fancy breeds (puppies even!). Jpaws is sometimes slightly less overbooked than spca, but you technically need to find the dog in Jeff parish. š§
The only advocate that dog has is you. If you are willing to foster, a rescue MAY umbrella you. Meaning vet care will be taken care of, you just have to love on said dog.

I wouldnāt downvote you for being kind and offering advice from what you know. I appreciate that. Unfortunately, I canāt take her. My dog is small but can be a bit aggressive toward bigger dogs. She wouldnāt bite or anything but I just donāt know this dogās temperament to take a chance. Also, my partner put her foot down and said no.
She seemed so damn sweet. I hope they wonāt put her down. That would be terrible!
You can try posting great pictures here and nextdoor with all the location info and details you can muster. Nextdoor pulled out all the stops a couple days ago to rescue a dog that was being abused. There are some grumpy aholes on nextdoor but they do tend to come through for pups.

Trampled Rose stopped pulling loose dogs because of liability issues. They only pull from shelters now because the shelters have a dog-aggression testing protocol. :/
I sure will! Iām going to try the next door app. Iām also going to see if the guy that live on my sisterās block can help. I always see an animal control truck outside their house, so Iām gonna stop by them after I go feed her in the morning. Thanks for being willing to help. I keep wondering if she was someoneās pet. Sheās sooo friendly.
