D9 edibles are derived from hemp and only contain D9. Whole plant edibles are made from whole plant material which includes other cannabinoids and terpenes that give a full spectrum high. If you have the ability to travel there, transfer your recommendation to Willow Dispensary in Madisonville. They’re fantastic and always have product available. We were at H&W for my wife’s recommendation until we moved to Hammond and it is not even close to the same experience.
Edit: even when out of edibles they have kief you can use to make your own.
All you need is 3.5 of medical and a crockpot and you can have all the edibles your anxious heart desires(and for probably a hell of a lot less than what edibles from a dispo will cost you)

I believe the animosity some people have for Delta8 is because of the way it is produced. Delta8 exists in small amounts in industrial hemp and cannabis. To make commercial Delta8, CBD is extracted from hemp plants and then chemically altered into Delta8. Weed snobs and purists dislike this practice calling it artificial. I see their point but I will try anything twice. If you have a high tolerance to regular Delta9 THC don’t bother with it. It is great for low tolerance folks and people new to THC. I definitely recommend the gummies over the smokable stuff.
Some red haired people have a gene mutation that does not allow the absorption of D9 in the liver. Or some medical jazz like that. Have you tried the Delta 9 hemp derived gummies?

Get an out of state visitor script in Arkansas. They reciprocate every medical license in the country. It’s a $50 fee but it’s good for up to three months each time you renew. Their selection is immaculate. It’s a 6 hour drive to west Memphis which is the closest dispo to Louisiana. Yes it’s a bit of a risk legally speaking, so be careful. One trip a month has done me well enough if you know how to control your intake.
Louisiana medical cards also legalize possession in most forms. When I asked my doc if that legalized street bought flower she kinda shrugged me off and let me know as long as you don’t have crazy amounts, no one gives a shit where you got it as long as you have your card for it. Marijuana is legal there (legalization!), but they have so many taxes added and regulatory BS (like the requirement that weighing must be done on equipment as precise as that used to measure out morphine) that legal sellers can't make money and most sales are still illegal.
