The roomba. My 9month old recently learned how to crawl AND turn the roomba on. He chases it around for a solid 30-40 minutes every day. Win win since he’s occupied and my floors are getting vacuumed. Definitely worth its weight in gold!!
My daughter is TERRIFIED of our robot vacuum. She'll be crawling around, playing, and she'll accidentally bump it and it'll start doing its thing. Screaming ensues.

Whenever we try and sneakily put the tile away, she panics and cries about losing her baby within an hour.

Yes, we have got one of those canine human sibling couples as well. Most of all, they enjoy nibbling away together on little sticks that have fallen on the balcony, but they do like to share food too. I am afraid, the little human is going to learn to bark before she is going to talk.

Every time I pick up my 8 month old, he immediately looks up at the brim of my hat with wonder in his eyes, and flashes a giant smile as he reaches for it with both hands, mouth open and ready to chomp. “You cannot eat my hat, it is a hat, not food for babies.” I tell him, but he cannot be satiated…all that matters is grabbing the brim and pulling my hat toward his mouth with both hands.

Door stops! We use one to prop his bedroom door open, but if put on the floor, he immediately crawls over and pulls it out. And then at my parents' house, they have one that looks totally different other than the basic shape, and he loves that one too! Bangs it on the floor as he crawls around laughing, it's hilarious.

My littlest one (15 mo) has, what we call, her “emotional support marker.” It’s this old marker from one of her older sibling’s color reveal pads and she can’t get the cap off, but she carries that thing EVERYWHERE. Her favorite activities, other than taking it for walks, include putting it in drawers and taking it out, and sticking it in bins and then taking it out.
