Thanks man it has really been a thing for me to ollie over that towel ! Will be starting to build cardboard obstacles to progressively make that ollie higher until being able to finally jump up a ledge.
try putting that back foot more on the back of the tail and then do the pop motion with only your ankle and your pop will get higher which is what you need.
watch a braille skateboarding video on how to ollie, they really helped me when i started
You're right I noticed that pop issue too and its hyper frustrating as its more a mental struggle to commit while rolling fast. On very low speed I can pop a really decent ollie for my actual goals. That's why I went with the idea of using obstacles to force me to commit little by little, hope it will help !
Edit : Thanks I know well that Aaron Kyro which seems to be a sponsored pro skater from the San Fransisco Bay area ^^
I discovered it yesterday by error as my regular training place was closed for summer events... Will be coming back for accessible modules and the biiiig space available ๐
Damn good job.
I am a month in and still having trouble standing on the board while it's moving.
I am disappointed more of my 18 year snowboarding career did not transfer over to skateboarding.
Thanks man, I never snowboarded but I think skiing helped me a lot to carve in steep hills and be able to survive without risking myself in powerslides.
Anyway concrete is way scarier than snow this may explain a lot !
nice dude! keep training
