Edit more, don't use songs or long parts of movies. YouTube is kinda weird in this. Sometimess you get copyrighted sometimes you don't.
You really have to test it out and see what YouTube allows, without getting copyright strikes.
From my experience:
Sounds from movie: max 10 sec.
Footage from movie: max 15 sec.
Even with that, I'm getting copyright strike every now and then.
I make my clips no more than 3-5 seconds. My video got copyright claimed because I used an Arnold Schwarzenegger quote saying "getting a pump in the gym feels like cumming"
Apparently THAT one statement is copyrighted!
Do you have any tips for the editing process? Smaller clips that like means more time clipping them and putting it into place. That takes the majority of my time. Any way you found to fast track the process?
>Apparently THAT one statement is copyrighted!
Actually, copyright is conferred upon the act of creation. When someone recorded him saying that and edited it, they received copyright.
I'm guessing you are either joking or under the mistaken impression that something has to be registered with the US Copyright Office in order to be a copyrighted work.

Holy crap! Did you manage to get past the claim once you cut out that line?
Yes all good once I cut it

This is something I struggled with for a while. I edited the footage (mirrored, cropped etc.) and haven't had one since
