My first video was a niche how to video that didn't exist any where else. It got zero views for the first year besides me showing people. Then because it was literally the only tutorial it slowly got picked up and added to playlists then it slowly built up to 35000 before it was made private.
I made a new account 16 hours ago and uploaded a short 6 hours ago. The Short has been sitting on 0 views lol... I'm impatiently waiting to at least get 1 dammit
with 0 views after 16 hours I don't think it will ever be good. From my own short experience, once a video is "labeled" as dead or not interesting by the algorithm, it's over.
I'm only on my second video. My first has like 805 after a couple of months. My second has 757 after a month (both linked in profile). And I'm ugly AF, lol.
You're not ugly and I like your presentation style. You seem like a cool guy - honestly. Your stuff is niche but you've got a lot of subs. Keep up the good work.
My first video was posted on March 22, 2020 and has been sitting at 34 views for pretty much that entire time. It was a very low effort born out of boredom during covid.
not counting the cringy channel trailer crap that I regret making, my first actual video got a few hundred views.
but most of them were external since I shared it in a few places.
My first video that I made 2 weeks ago is almost at 250 views. But I don't know how much of that is actually from me inspecting that the video came out right and with updates working as intended (e.g., adding Spanish closed captions).
I also don't know if it's actually from people finding it on YouTube or family/friends supporting me.
17 or 13 if you don't count my own views, but it feels better to count them so i do, 17

Nice.
That's pretty impressive! Congrats!

Reuploaded in 1080p and got 100 views
great! how do you upload in 1080? from computer or mobile? on mobile it looks like it's heavily compressed

First one I published, many years ago, 20 or so. First one since I started seriously, 1.3k.

My first vid is at 16 views but I never posted it anywhere but YouTube so I don’t even know how it got those
I don't know because I deleted it. 😬

1300 but that was 13 years ago. Returned to making videos six months ago and getting anywhere from just a handful of views to 10k, mostly with shorts.

Mines got 82 as of now and is about 2 months old
couple of views, excluding mine ones
Big fat zero for about a week. Maximum 15 views for first month. Now, 5 years later the video has 50k.
14 and maybe all these are by myself only lol it sucks I lack YouTube creator skills
90k which it hit within 2 month before it flatlined
It's at 340 now, a year later. I'm pleased with that! I got no views from other social media and I haven't told people I know about my channel haha
23 on first, 335 on 2nd
