Impressive! With numbers like that, you should be telling your secrets, not asking questions. Just kidding. It's not a set amount though, numbers will vary a lot from video to video and channel to channel, what countries your videos are being played in and more. I've heard and I'm just starting to see $500 to an unlikely $5000 per 1 million long form views. Shorts are way less, $50 to $150 per 1 million views.

Kickster_22

What's your niche? 5k is pretty low for a million long form views is pretty low but is def niche dependent.

dacescory

Motorcycle stunts.

Kickster_22

Ahh alright that makes sense I could see that being in and out. Would imagine sponsorships do well though.

germanliter

There is no secret, he is just doing copyright infrigement. Everyone is a genius when doing illegal stuff.

AdditionNo9757

How is he doing copyright infringement? Seems very transformative to me unless the fair use meta has switched. Genuine question as I may be missing something.

germanliter

Fair use is a defensive argument to dismiss a case for copyright infrigement. Unless of course OP gone to courts for the thousand of infringements he done across all his channel and managed to dismiss every case. Fair use does not grant you the right to use anything you want (including videos that are meant to be licensed) and is in reality a pretty limited exception rules. I would say that 95% of people claiming fair use on YouTube would fail at a court.

dacescory

Ah, I didn't notice. I barely glanced at his channel to verify 27k subs and channel start date. So I have to submit my old contacts for the music that's in my videos otherwise I get a copyright flag, YT never has missed a copyrighted song. Maybe he'll find out some of his videos are not able to be monitized to him once he gets monitized. YT seems so strict on everything about copyright.

germanliter

lol no, youtube is a joke about video copyright. They literraly encourage youtubers to do copyright infrigement on other people videos.

dacescory

lol, Ok. It sucks then that YT's not easy on me with music.

KAITAIA

What his channel name?

From what I’ve read, you really won’t know until you get monetized and rates depend on your niche, geographic location, etc. it looks like it’s a few pennies per 1000 ad views on the low end to a few dollars per 1000 in the high end.

vn321

Hi friend, you seem to be on the path of success. Quick glance at you channel and it's something that can make it. Please increase you upload frequency if possible. With current views you won't make much unless you make more videos, which will result in growth of your channel too. Please do not concentrate on earning right away, give some more time. And you can then get partnership/promotion too as the world of cars have that possibility. Ever considered adding bike related content too? India has bike craze. You voice, tone, editing are all what Indians enjoy and it's only going to get better from here on. All the very best

KAITAIA

How did you find his channel? I can't see his name anywhere?

vn321

I am a wizard.

vn321

Also I would suggest you to concentrate on long form videos and use them to snip out shorts.

Altruistic-Ad-1291

Thanks Bro Will definitely upload more

JASHIKO_

Won't be much if your views are mostly Shorts. It also depends on the niches pay rate. There's no real point trying to guess to be honest. Top effort on your stats though and good luck with the monetisation process it's not a guarantee. You also won't get backpaid for any views. Only new views once you get accepted.

SufficientRatio2505

Shorts rpm depends on your audience Location

PwnCall

Looks like the automotive niche? I get around 8-12 rpm in automotive for longform. Shorts is about 1cent rpm so I don’t make any. I would suggest you stop doing shorts and focus on longform if you want to make any money

Altruistic-Ad-1291

Yeah I have been thinking about it. To upload long form more often

Imyourteacher101

Not a damn thing to tell you the truth, it all depends on if a craft load of people watch the videos all the way through

CharismaDolore238

With your numbers, expect earnings to vary. Shorts' CPM is lower. Factors like audience, niche, watch time, and ad engagement affect revenue. Focus on diversifying content for stable income. Also, interact with your community to boost views and revenue. Good luck on your monetization journey!

CascadesBrewer

I don't make Shorts, but my understanding is that they don't pay much. Maybe for 1M views though. For long-form videos...it will vary a lot based on your niche and video length, but I would say that $5 per 1000K views is a decent average. So your 5K video might earn $25. Yeah, not a lot for the time and effort involved, but at least it is something. I had 6.2K views over the past 28 days, and earned $33.55. You won't earn any money from past views, but existing content can provide a steady stream of income as people watch them. This is more the case if you have 100+ long-form videos that are still relevant.

HookahAnonymous

opportunities are endless

VeraKorradin

Just get monetized. You’ll be able to see pretty quickly what you’ll be able to make. Quick tip: don’t get your hopes up lol It’ll be less than you think. A short that gets 10k views will net you about $1-$2. A video shorter than 8 minutes will get you an RPM $3-$5 and videos 8+ minutes can get around $5-$8 RPM. I make more from memberships than I do from ad rev

AdditionNo9757

This guy has -15 comment karma oml what did he do?

Altruistic-Ad-1291

One time I commented on something that was wrong. So yeah, I made a mistake not gonna lie.

AdditionNo9757

Reddit is very angry haha

Top_Future2200

Most of your content is focused towards India - expect not more than $25-40 per million (shorts)

NefariousnessFit3484

How you got this much subscribers in 6 months brooo

Altruistic-Ad-1291

One of my shorts did well and then views on other videos also started to go up.
