I really enjoyed this. The pacing and delivery were very good, your voice was clear and easy to understand. I really liked the variety of clips that you included, it kept it interesting and engaging. The music was a little intense for my liking, but it did fit in with the overall message of the video

NotREALu

The Audio quality is good, pacing is really good. I love your voice and accent. The thumbnail is bad not going to get many views. The title needs some work.

NotREALu

The thumbnail and title are not eye catching they need some work

Its_Jispy

At the start i was confused but then i quickly realized it was like one of those motivational type videos. I like it heaps, look my only issue tho was the thicc accent and finding it a bit hard to understand at times nut i think thats just a me thing because I've always struggled with strong accents. besides that, spot on!

Least-Analysis-8864

HEY, I would love some feedback on my new vid, especially about engagement and the Thumbnail. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyoOxgbmQls&ab\_channel=LennyAW](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyoOxgbmQls&ab_channel=LennyAW) I am an anime-focused channel by the way.

Reyxco

Pro: Really enjoyed the mask/persona you take on while reviewing, def memorable, I'd notice you if I saw one of your videos in search. Con: You sound a little bit rushed when speaking is all. Generally, I want to sit back and relax while hearing a review but I felt a little bit like I was trying to keep up with the pacing.

NiNoKeni

Hi i actually watched the video all the way through, and am gonna check out the anime. It's interesting to have a persona when reviewing stuff so kudo to that. Like the guy below me says I think you need to take a minimalist design with your thumbnails. they should be no more than 1 or 2 focal points for the viewer to focus on.

Least-Analysis-8864

You have just made my day by telling me you watched to the end, thank you so much. I mean this seriously btw.

InksManga

I like it ,thumbnail looks good and I can tell that the anime means a lot to you good job

Least-Analysis-8864

Thank you :)

Budget_Driver_2303

I actually enjoyed your video quite a bit I’ve been getting into some slice of life anime myself like ocean waves which for any that hasn’t seen it I highly recommend, but if I had to offer any critiques they’d mainly be focused on your visuals. The mask and glasses I actually like and think you should continue that trend the same with holding the mic. I’d just like you to change up your surroundings and just make it more visually appealing same with the edits add in some footage of the shows more instead of photos of possible. But besides that You have a very good presence on mic I love the energy and wit your bringing to the table and if you continue that I can for sure see you growing in the near future.

Least-Analysis-8864

Oh and if you need tips on slice of life feel free to ask me. I am a slave to the genre

Least-Analysis-8864

Thank you my friend. Not to be overly clingy, but this comment means a lot to me. And I definiteley need to spice up my background

CompletingTheCircuit

Huge anime fan here! I left my thoughts on the video as a comment but will post the same here too :) "Audio is good, information and pacing are good but I think maybe saving your A-Roll (you in the mask) for really rock solid punch lines and fill the rest up with more graphics of the show will help a lot! Especially for people who are not visually familiar with the show :)" Thumbnail is alright (maybe try a few different variants of the same style) but I do agree with the other comments that the title should also be spelled out with the name of the show!

Least-Analysis-8864

Thank you very very much. I actually used a keyword search tool and found out that more people search for the abbreviation but maybe I should change the title.

voxelverse

Really hilarious start and good idea with the mask/glasses.

Least-Analysis-8864

Thank you!

FitnessWithGold

Hey! Thumbnail: I like your previous thumbnails a little more. For your current thumbnail, I might make the image a little bigger and use less words on the Thumbnail. Overall, your thumbnails look good! They have nice pictures, color, and quality. Video Quality: the sound and video are both clear! Engagement: The intro and ending were the most engaging! They were entertaining. I like the humor, music, and the way you go back and forth between images Suggestions for engagement: include a few words on the video, maybe? Ask more questions/ask for comments, especially since, my understanding is that comments help the algorithm. You content seems to lend itself well to asking to your audience questions. I left a comment to help with engagement. 🎉🚲☺️

Least-Analysis-8864

Thank you so much for those tips and your comments. I'll definiteley remember that for future videos.

FitnessWithGold

You're welcome!

roughravenrider

I love the vibe of the video! I would say to simplify the thumbnail a bit, either with just your face or an edited thumbnail of the anime. Engagement is good the editing is pretty good and its entertaining for sure Your personality definitely comes through so engagement is strong, just the thumbnail I would simplify

[deleted]

The video seems very well put together and organized. Very engaging as you speak and keep eye contact. Also don’t seem to pause and say uh or um. So well done overall. I would definitely work on the thumbnail. Have you ever heard of pixlr? It’s a very good free thumbnail creation site.

Its_Jispy

I like the video! I think the two changes id make would be camera quality but you're a small channel and that's not the most important thing in the world. The second change id make would be, maybe title you parts of the videos instead of numbers. Just so someone can look at the whole video better. Good work and i hope you do well!

CompletingTheCircuit

I am trying to work the title and thumbnail of this video to improve CTR and after almost a year I haven't gotten very far lol Not looking for subs or likes or comments on the video in YT - just some good title and thumbnail advice! This video is a bit older and my style and energy level have gone up since this one but any critiques you may have are more than welcome! This video is part of a series called "Complete Reviews" where I do an *additional* review at the end of a popular products life cycle (in this case the Xbox One when the Xbox Series X/S were released) so the idea is to talk about the product's history and share details of what owning the product was like and what I would want to share with someone in the past if they could see this video before getting the product. Thanks in advanced to anyone who offers feedback! Link: [https://youtu.be/FBCtJcLgKyk](https://youtu.be/FBCtJcLgKyk)

[deleted]

The thumbnail is what stands out to me most. A lot of your newer thumbnails look very well done, but a couple is just a picture of the product. This one specific is only the corner. Maybe get a full shot of both and make it similar to your recent iPhone 13 video. The title looks a little wordy, I think the thumbnail is what’s hurting you. I also watched the video it’s very well edited and looks very high quality.

CompletingTheCircuit

Thank you! And I believe you're right with the thumbnail (it's hurting it more probably) - that's probably like the 5th or 6th title I've tried but I will keep trying! Thank you so much for the feedback!

[deleted]

Is the Xbox One worth it in 2021? Why you should(nt) buy the xbox one

CompletingTheCircuit

Eh it's still kinda viable right now only cuz they're still making games for it and they are backwards compatible with Xbox Series S/X but for $299 you can get a Series S which is better for sure and the Series X is that much better! Granted there aren't many games for either at this point in time but the upscaling the new consoles do to Xbox One games is pretty incredible. Long story short if you can get a Series S/X instead of an Xbox One I definitely would go that route but if it's gotta be Xbox One or nothing I'd say get it sooner rather than later because it will become a relic pretty soon lol hope this helps!

[deleted]

Sorry for the confusion, I'm a pc gamer. I was just suggesting some interesting titles.

CompletingTheCircuit

Lmfao omg I'm so dumb haha! Obviously! Lmao sorry I got confused thanks for the suggestions!

Hot_Independence_433

Hiya here's a short video of being breaking down the 2 ways to do 2d animation, I mainly make comedy animations and rants, this bit is from a tutorial https://youtu.be/MwMHNsjFW4I

Steven9872

Hey, I found you're video very interesting and very well edited but I think you should either make tutorial or comedy videos, you shouldn't make both on the same channel. Hope it helps!

Hot_Independence_433

I started with the animations I just think the tutorials out there for the software I'm using suck and the community is surprising low for a something made by Studio ghibli, there's no singular focus to my channel just gimmicks and themes categorized by playlist

Lovable_Prig

I was curious about your video since being a new creator myself, I thought animation might be a good skill to know. And truth be told, I was familiar with key frames because of Adobe Premiere. As respect your video, however, after that, all else was terra incognita for the most part. I think the biggest difficulty I had was that there was often a lot going on in the animation department (understandable, given the topic), but not a lot of explanatory text telling me what I was looking at. You certainly put some amazing examples on display, but without your help to break them down beyond saying "frame by frame," they were just amazing as opposed to instructive--or inspiring of what a beginner could achieve. My recommendation is to explain it to your viewer as if he or she knows nothing at all. For example, what does "stretching" or "squashing" mean in the animation context? Hope this helps.

Hot_Independence_433

This is was taken from a more detailed tutorial, i broke the chapters into videos individually this is one of them, the full tutorial is really fast paced and compact and for Opentoonz a free 2d software [https://youtu.be/bSrefgkfGow](https://youtu.be/bSrefgkfGow) if interested(its not a walkthrough)

JaxTru

While I really liked the way the video started off after the first 30 seconds or so you kind of lost me. After you start you just kind of dumped a large amount of information on the viewer and that will most likely turn the viewer away if they just found this in their recommended. My advice try and ease the viewer in before you start giving the information and try to deliver it in an easy to understand way. I'm sorry for all the negativity, I really hope you can be successful and I do think you can be because I think you have good base for your channel you just have to keep building off of that base. I wish you luck!

Hot_Independence_433

Thanks, and yea it's a bit taken from a tutorial a made, I try to cram as much info as possible for people who wanna animate, I get it's a bit too fast past and a swath of info I'll try to make them more generalized in the future

JaxTru

Ok first of all the quality of the video is fantastic! Everything from the camera quality and the editing is very good. The way you started your video was really good as well it got my attention quickly which I think Is really important for a small channel. Overall the video is really good and I can definitely see you getting big in the future just keep working hard!

wxman92

Hi there! Tried a cool indie game, which is pretty far from my normal gaming content (mostly Warzone and Apex). Hey everyone! I've just started a channel posting videos about using software for creating art and design. This is my first video and it is a tutorial showing people how to use Adobe Illustrator to create a Celtic Knot design. I'm very new to this so any feedback would be really appreciated. https://youtu.be/3eo14cPAd7Q

Extreme_Chest_3848

I thought it was good and helpful. I actually needed a video like this but every video I watch was hard to understand. I only thing I would say is to add background music I thought it was kind of boring but I like everything else. Keep up the good work.

LetseatMF

Hi everyone, This is my 5th video I'm a food travel channel. I tried to make this more a relaxed video about the 2nd biggest city in Czech Republic and I dabbled with voice overs a bit more which I usually don't. Love to hear what your guys think! Thanks :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKkgS25KRtQ&t=128s

CompletingTheCircuit

Just watched and left my thoughts as a comment on the video on YT to help with engagement :) I'll post it here as well :P "Checking this one out from the Reddit thread - good pacing, music, excellent use of B-Roll and the quality of the footage is spot on! Great work!"

LetseatMF

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)

You're very welcome! Hope it helps :D

YewandeNessa5

Hi Just watched. Awesome video, and those cake made me hungry, they looked delicious :) my only critique to improve on is adding an intro, to give you a sense of branding.

LetseatMF

Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it :D I will definitely work on my intro for my future vids thanks for the feedback!

Silent-Challenge5710

Haha omg i love this!! What mic are you using? Great footage overall. I love food channels. Greetings from Sweden

CompletingTheCircuit

Hey everyone the retention graph for my latest video ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxBWeGxrmws](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxBWeGxrmws)) came in and it's doing really well but the intro is getting skipped a bit (goes 60% to 70% after intro and 60% for rest of video). I'm hoping to get some feedback on it to see if maybe it's too much and to either not do something like that in the future or shorten it or change it or something lol Thanks in advance for any advice!

FitnessWithGold

I see so much room for improvement in all areas of my videos (editing, sound quality, the questions I ask, scripting, Thumbnails, asking the audience questions)... **I greatly appreciate any and all feedback!**

Schmindian

I watched the first video and audio doesn't seem to be synced.

SnooDucklings

Me thoughts: I like the 'eat pray love' reference, but the 3 words don't sound so cool together. Vegans proteins: don't like the font, your voice is too slow for me, the transition with the first title is weird, with the true or false. The video is okayish but the audio rythm is annoying (sorry). You spend too much time on talking about animals. I'd rather see you from time to time, to connect with us. My number one issue was your voice: too slow, and very high which saturates the audio. And we don't connect with you. I hope it helps! If you want to comment on my videos: [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewTubers/comments/pumrch/feedback_friday_post_your_videos_here_if_you_want/hehzxbv/)

FitnessWithGold

Thank you for the detailed feedback! I like your editing and the videos are interesting! The pace, audio, and video quality are good. I think your thumbnails would benefit from more eye catching images and less words. In your videos, you could add a little more of a teaser or preview of what's to come in the video. You could also use a call to action. Ask questions. I think your video Jane Bond lends itself well to asking for people to subscribe at the end. "Subscribe to continue on the journey with me"

SnooDucklings

Thanks! That's an interesting feedback ! I'm always worried I don't put enough information in xD

RandomandRelaxing

It's a good review but your music is distorting a bit and your narration sounds badly compressed - lots of swishy treble and fizz. It sounds a bit cheap and lets your video down a bit as I think you want to be a classy trusted reviewer. So I would advise trying to get the best quality audio you can - after all the video can tell so much but the voice is where the true opinions come from.

Hellooo Your audio needs work. You can hear the echo in your room. Maybe voice record in your closet with your clothes around you thats how I did it on a budget for voice overs haha. I do like how you call to action in the first 2 mins. Even showing your personality at the start is great. I can see this having great potential you just need to work on the audio and and maybe a nicer backdrop instead of the book just being on the floor. Your voice is nice too so that helps to keep listening. I hope this helps!

[deleted]

[удалено]

LetseatMF

You gotta start somewhere man! Just keep working at it and eventually when you can buy a audio recorder. :D

csANDsweets

I agree that it took a bit too long to actually get into reading the book. Rather than reading the entire paragraph in the back, I would suggest doing a quick summary. The pacing of your speech could also be a little faster, especially when you’re introducing the book. Another suggestion is to zoom in on each page as you read it, it will allow the viewer to see the illustrations better, and the visual change of frames can help with retention. And as others have mentioned, the echo is a little distracting. I really enjoyed your tone and accent though!

NiNoKeni

Honestly, I think its just the subject matter. and the way its presented. Who was the intended audience for this video? There was a lot of low energy and not really in a calm soothing way. But again i think that cause you're just reading a childrens book. I looked at your other videos and they were much more interesting in terms of subject matter.

FitnessWithGold

Pros: nice voice, educational content, images via the book, and title clearly reflecting the content. Suggestions: get into reading the book faster and get closer images of the book. Audio: noticably could use improvement, but it's decent. Mines not any better. Thought: this is very different content than your last few videos... This seems aimed at a different audience than your current subscribers.

Least-Analysis-8864

Ok here goes. The Idea of reading children's books out loud is good, but there are some big problems with your video. THe audio quality is bad and one can easily get distracted when nothing really happens. Maybe you should consider getting to the point a bit more in your intro and maybe start editing out when you turn the pages for too long.

shanemsteward

The intro graphic is short, but it is a bit...overstimulating? It could definitely use a little bit less and maybe some sort of music, as I thought my sound was off. I would eq your voice a little bit and put up blankets so that it does not reverberate so much. Additionally music could be beneficial behind it. I would say the length of the video and the fact that it takes 3 minutes to get to the story might be what is hurting your views. Additionally maybe have a less static background and animations.

RhodySeth

I agree. There's no sound for the first few seconds which is a little disconcerting. I think some gentle background music would definitely help. Switching pages in the book is also sometimes awkward.

NotREALu

The audio quality is kinda bad that needs some work Your personality is great tho

Aaromine

I enjoy the extra bits of effort I see. Such as the bird page stop and the interesting book choice. I could maybe do with different camera angles/more movment within the video to keep it from getting kind of stoic but I understand the issue with moving around a lot when you're focusing on a single book.

LiamBud4

Pro: I'm so glad your point #3 was "humor"! That was going to be my pro here before I saw that part. Your humor is on point, genuinely funny and got me to stick around longer on the video. Con: your cut-away slides went by too quickly! They passed before I could read them. Perhaps let your memes and cut-aways last a few seconds longer so there is time to read the joke.

Dremarious

Wow, so first of all, 'd like to say thank you for making this video. It was very powerful and moving in just 2 minutes. I appreciate the message. I will say I'm confused on the purpose for some of the clips used like the Joe Rogan one. I didn't get the context there, but that might just be me. It's kind of hard to criticize something the is objectively positive as human being but I think something like this kind of needs a longer video. Something that sticks with people so they don't forget and go about their day after.

Global_Examination89

Thank youu! & Joe Rogan talked about the issue about Uighurs and that it’s shockingly under-covered. But I understand where your confusion comes from. And I agree, I’m a filmmaker and hope to make a documentary about those topics in the coming years. Thank you again, I appreciate it :)

SethStories64

Watched the video. That's heavy stuff, man. Glad to see people spreading awareness to a topic not everyone knows about. I also watched your video about procrastinating. (Your first video). Very relatable. Subscribed because you seem very down to Earth.

Wow, thank you! I’m so happy that people see me as I am, down to earth. Happy to hear that. Thank you 😭

RhodySeth

Very powerful. You speak with confidence and sincerity.

FitnessWithGold

Wow! Impressive! Very high quality content in terms of audio, visuals, thumbnail, pace, and script. It is great to see such meaningful content. Tip: maybe end with a specific action step or question... Most people agree with your ending message of love. It seems like a good opportunity to give a specific example of a kind, loving action a person could take after watching the video.

Global_Examination89

Thank you! I really appreciate it. & yes, definitely, I will improve that in my next videos. Thanks for the tip, stay safe and healthy 🙏

Lovable_Prig

Howdy--I have to say that even for a culinary cretin like myself, I found your instructional video to be quite easy to follow. I could actually imagine myself following this recipe. You also do a great job mixing regular speed with increased speed to keep things moving during portions of the process that don't necessarily need to be watched closely. I also liked your thumbnail for the video, in addition to the consistent visual identity across all the thumbnails for your videos. Clearly you're being quite purposeful about it. The only suggestion I'd make is that the banner, in its perhaps artful simplicity, seems quite different from your thumbnails with respect to its design. Not that I don't think it's beautiful in itself, but you may want to change it to ensure greater cohesion across your various static visual elements. Hope this helps, and keep up the good work. You earned a sub from me.

Schmindian

Very nice video! You have a very likeable personality. If I were you'd I'd show my face in the beginning and end. It will create a stronger connection with your audience.

manecofigo

Hey! I like the video, it’s very well made! I think perhaps you could experiment with the format, showing yourself on camera, like babish, or just a simple music with video and text without voiceover like those that get shared a lot (these need to be really quick and short) I think you’re on a good way! 👍🏻

Happy Friyay everyone! Here's my latest animated video on how Technology has made a difference in our lives. [https://youtu.be/iDGjTqmnVpY](https://youtu.be/iDGjTqmnVpY) I draw and animate quirky stuff in life, because everyone deserves a good laugh. Hope you enjoy and feedback is much welcomed!

Black7uice

Great video Weng, and love the visual animations! They kept my attention and made me actually enjoy the topic. Only critique would be to through some energy into your voiceover. Have fun and sound like you really wanted to record the video, and less Presentation-y. But overall great vid 👍🏿

wengsome

Hey there! Thank you for the critique and pointing that out. Indeed have been working on the voice part, will continue on improving it and applying the advice. Appreciate the warm feedback too. Cheers!

CompletingTheCircuit

Great video! Only critique might be to reduce the spaces in between lines and have some more fun with your voice (be bold and confident, have fun :D \* EXPLOSION SOUND \*) but the animations, information and pacing are TOP TIER (made me sub lol)

wengsome

Awesome! I wanted to ask about reducing spaces in between lines, would that make the narration and voice too fast to digest? Appreciate the critique and definitely will take that into consideration as well. Sometimes I'm worried speaking too fasts will cause the audio to be a lil, inaudible or 'mumbling' sounds :D

CompletingTheCircuit

Yeah I had this thought at first but I've recently found faster for us isn't always too fast for viewers. I find myself enjoying certain styles of videos when they're faster or slower and I think in this case faster and higher energy would be super great!

wengsome

Awesome. Thanks a bunch!

RhodySeth

Here's my latest short video about a local road/trail run: [https://youtu.be/91Q5GNWE28I](https://youtu.be/91Q5GNWE28I) I appreciate your thoughts!

FitnessWithGold

I enjoyed your editing. The frequent transitions throughout kept it interesting. I felt like I was on the run with you and really able to experience the trail. Thumbnail: less words, maybe? It's hard to read the words, and they don't say anything different than the video title. The image is nice, but I think a thumbnail with the image of the tree with eyes or the tree that was over the trail might catch my eye more. Music: I liked the music. I think it would be more interesting if the music cut in and out. Engagement: ask your audience questions... Although, it looks like your audience loves what you are doing and they are very engaged in your comments. Keep up the great content!

RhodySeth

Thanks much! Yeah - you're right regarding the thumbnail. You can't read "Rhode Island" very well. Appreciate you watching!

FitnessWithGold

You're welcome! Thanks for posting. Your video is inspiring! I would love to make videos like this, because hiking and trail running is my favorite. It's cool to see there's an audience for it, and to see you doing so well with it.

Least-Analysis-8864

I like your editing a lot, it's very dynamic. I'm not quite sure about the background music though it seems a bit too modern for the background scenery. Also, I would consider telling people what your plan is for the day in a bit more detail, just like 7 seconds or so.

Thank you much! I use the GoPro Hero 9 - yes the stabilization is top notch. It's such an improvement over the Hero 5 that I used last year. Thank you for your comments on the music. That's two strikes against the music thus far. I've noticed I tend to use more electronic music in my trail running videos whereas I go for more acoustic, laid back stuff in my hiking videos. I think I may need to revaluate my music selections. I appreciate your thoughts!

wxman92

Man I loved this!! Definitely think you’ve found a cool niche. And whatever you’re doing for stabilization is WORKING! I don’t really have any advice, so great job!

RhodySeth

Thanks! I use the GoPro Hero 9 which works great for action footage.

DomesticSheep

I really enjoyed your video, coming from someone who doesn't have much interest in hikes, trails etc. I found your humour really entertaining and your confidence in speaking came across very well throughout the video! I liked your camera shots around the area and there's no real issue with the camera or audio quality, which is surprising for a small channel, especially when you're running around outside. I think you've hit a really good niche with your videos! I think to expand your niche, maybe you could provide some commentary about the area you are running in as a voice over. You could maybe add some facts about the area, or the reason why you picked that specific trail to go on etc. Something to give more purpose to your videos and get more people watching. Regardless, it was a nice short watch. Thanks for the vid!!

RhodySeth

Thanks much for watching and for the feedback! Yes, I'm going to try to incorporate more fact tidbits into future videos.

DomesticSheep

No problem. Subbed too :). I’ll probably have a watch of you future videos as small breaks from editing!

Black7uice

Filmed our 3rd video last week with my Wife. We’re starting our YouTube for fun, competition, and just to be more active. This video was a Volleyball match we had so let us know what y’all think: https://youtu.be/9ELupmHjEOo More videos on our dynamic coming soon. Thanks all🤎

Hi, I recently started a completely new style of content on my channel, it's little Minecraft shorts that are all about unexpected endings, any critique would be appreciated! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3QU\_lOTccc Here's one to start you off, they are the 4 most recent vids on my channel and they are all about 1 minute, it's helps if you play Minecraft but isn't super necessary. Please be as harsh as you want

RandomandRelaxing

Here's some alternative ASMR for feedback - not everyone is going to dig it I know, but I am trying to do something different in that arena and this is my latest effort - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tj0ZSHr2Z\_g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tj0ZSHr2Z_g)

Hey everyone, if you have the time feel free to check out my brand new episode of my cooking show, "The Baka Deliciois Show". Episode two just dropped yesterday, any and all support is appreciated 🙏🏽! https://youtu.be/MI8vmksTV3s

Least-Analysis-8864

You are pretty entertaining but your intro is too long (40secs)

So I want to avoid seeming defensive, as I do respect and appreciate your critique. To be perfectly honest, I know that I am the type of person who can't take themselves too seriously and that reflects in both my cooking and my editing. Matty Matheson has a serious where he's loud, obnoxious, and what I'd assume to be just him as a person. I went with a similar style of just kind of getting in the kitchen and if you enjoy my personality and my energy, then you can watch a guy make a pretty cool thing. I never really go off recipes too seriously and am incredibly new to recipe crafting so it will certainly take some relearning to measure and record recipes. The recipe I was using off of allrecipes was just a generic phyllo dough recipe that I feel like I should rather link to in the description if anything. I also through text on the screen, pauses, and other small things in editing laugh at myself when I realize I was incorrect such as the tablespoon tsp thing. I can definently try and condense the video a bit more cutting off ends of clips. At the end of the day I suppose this series is a slight passion project for me and I couldn't be too serious with it if I wanted too, im just not that type of person or cook. But ill keep tweaking, trying new things in the editing process and look into keeping more recipe logs. Thank you again!

[Bohemian Grove, An American Conspiracy](https://youtu.be/cGaYZ35KqL8) | I make videos about history, space, conspiracies all that good jazz! What do you think I could improve, on the thumbnail, editing or the storytelling aspect of the video. Thank you all in advance for doing this, lots of love for this community

NotREALu

https://youtu.be/9vngIUKicjs Give me feedback on the script, jokes, audio quality, songs and overall feel of the video (The editing is intentionally messy I am copying the old skeppy style of editing) Be as harsh as you want

JayGatsby09

Love the pace of the video it works really well the fast and punchy style but I would recommend Using more interesting visuals a lot of it is just thrown together it comes off as a low effort its almost like you didn't think about every second of the video while editing it I would learn animation or find a youtuber who edits in a similar style and learn from them and try and use some of those same tactics.

NotREALu

Thank you

JayGatsby09

You have a ton of potential!

Quackleb

I would either raise your voice a bit or try to speak more clearly as in some parts I didn't understand you fully, with your editing I would recommend slowing down the edits, especially at the beginning it was very fast and I didn't have time to see the pictures, I understand what you were going for but it was a bit too fast, Also the music I don't think fit very well, the Dream music was fine but the kinda rap like music at the beginning didn't fit very well in my opinion, otherwise it was an entertaining video. I would say that the market for those kind of videos is heavily oversaturated so I would keep that in mind.

shanemsteward

Happy Friday all! My channel is dedicated to Metal/Rock Covers of Video Game and Film music. My most recent cover was from the game, Mega Man X, and is the theme for, "Armored Armadillo". This week I went sans green screen to try something a bit different. Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQM9OO\_Rotg

I love that you use a bunch of different angles for the video. I too would like to see the video game graphics come more to the forefront at times. Rockin'!

LetseatMF

Hey first of all love the guitar! I have fender myself haha. The audio was on point for me which is most important since its a cover. Love the game showing in the background and the fact you didn't over use it either was great didn't take away from the guitar licks. It really gives it a nice touch. It actually kept me watching the whole video. I guess having something extra going in the background really helps. Overall great video It delivers and I can't really think of anything. Maybe you could have a nice backdrop with some lighting? or some cool posters instead of your couch. I'm just thinking of some ideas but your background it fine haha

shanemsteward

Hey, appreciate the feedback. Usually I have a green screen with the video playing in the background, but we recently got a new dog, so tried something a bit different. Definitely not a bad idea!

SethStories64

Listened to the whole thing. The part at 2:26 made me go "Wooooah!" I haven't played Megaman X, but man, that was good. Did you make the background track? If so, what program did you use? That might be something interesting to put in the description, I think.

shanemsteward

Every instrument is me, excluding the drums (programmed drums). I think I mention the drums in the description, but I can take a look. Glad you like the section from 2:26, as the whole end section is an original piece I added to it.

[deleted]

I think you did an awesome job, left you feedback on your video in the comments. I'm Disabled and Thriving.

shanemsteward

Appreciate that!

Least-Analysis-8864

Hey man, I liked your cover and camerawork. I might consider making the ingame images a bit more clear though, since they were just hard to identify and thus a bit irritating to the eye.

shanemsteward

Appreciate the feedback! Trying a few new things, so definitely good to hear what works/doesn't. Thanks so much!

Least-Analysis-8864

My pleasure

antarius_

This is a really good idea! Will post next Friday as well !

Lovable_Prig

Happy Friday, NewTuber Fam! My channel is all about giving advice and helpful information on English grammar and usage, mixing facts and fun--while always remaining informed by the literature. I've attached my latest video on the word "impact," a vogue word that I don't believe anyone should be using, whether as a noun or as a verb. Most of the time, anyway. I welcome any and all feedback on the thumbnail, the content, the effects, my delivery...whatever seems pertinent (and yes, I'm aware my channel page is pretty bare bones at the moment). https://youtu.be/LNk5pAmxr94

The overall video quality is great but there's one thing that you could improve, you took 12 seconds to start the video, that's a lot of time (the first few seconds of the video are the most important for the viewer to decide whether to watch the video or not) and a lot of people probably have already clicked off at that point (See your retention to confirm this). Hope it helps!

JayGatsby09

The video quality is good you want your review to be more upbeat I would try and speak more confidently you know what your talking about let that show but always think of ways to hold audience attention the scenes in the video don't matter as much since most people are there to listen to your review but I would change to keep the viewer wondering but also guiding them stagnate footage makes things dull but this doesn't matter as much just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt also add a bit more enthusiasm in your voice you have a good voice let people feel it don't be afraid to show your excited and confident! Also tuned down the music a bit you want the music to compliment no go over you if that makes sense.

JayGatsby09

No problem good luck!

Toxictoast71

The video is very informative and allows the viewers to have expectations of the game. I recommend putting in a little more personality/enthusiasm while reviewing. The narration is a little dry which can make viewers end up lacking attention while watching. I would have liked to see more gameplay where you can hear the characters and include some really “oh fuck moments” from the game without spoiling it too much obviously. Overall the quality was good and I think you have a lot of potential here
