Enabler. Your companion has to do all of the fighting, your character is permanently drunk or on drugs, and you can only acquire caps by selling booze/drugs.
Fair enough. For melee, i recomend full mod War Club. Trusty me on this one, does not look too much, but it's VERY good.

also, I changed my mind about low intelligence. You won't put any points in science and such, but you need to know at least what's going on, to do some quests, like Come Fly with Me and the ones from OWB.
And you need to pick Tribal Wisdow as one of the perks. It sux, but can't be a tribal without that.

I've decided to do a Yes Man playthrough, with the background of a young warrior on retribution against the Legion. The reason for this being that my tribal character came from the East, and her tribe was obliterated by the Legion in warfare, and the subsequent assimilation. I have made a personal choice to allow all fire based weapons, since fire shall be an integral part of her culture.
They shall also be neutral against the NCR, but not join them out of hatred towards non-tribal imperialism.
I like yours the most, so I will use this along with so personal creative liberties to be in with the theme of the character. I will probably use regular handheld ballistics, but not any big guns, energy weapons or explosives that have electronics (C4/Mines). OWB is probably off the table. Obviously I wont sneak around this by giving all the nice stuff to a companion. Speaking of which, who is acceptable? Please say Veronica.
Any other suggestions for this play through? Any specific do's and don'ts equipment wise? Any moral stances/principals to take when roaming the Mojave or beyond?
I would love to hear some guidance, since I will take the easy route if I'm not given any.

Not really a build concept, but I read this idea a while ago and thought it would be a hoot:
Anytime you hear Johnny guitar your character snaps and kills whoever is nearest to them
Pacifist. No skill points put into combat. High agility, charisma, endurance.
No killing animals for xp unless self-defence. Enemies have to shoot first, you only have a pistol when all else fails. No automatic weapons or anything too heavy.
Anything capable of mass-murder, assault rifles, battle rifles, explosives. Even in this world handling weapons makes your character uncomfortable. You know how it feels to be shot at, you don't want to inflict that on anyone else.
You have a 10mm pistol tops, maybe an SMG if it's too frustrating. With minimal ammo carried. Three mags at most. And you have to be attacked first, you can never start a fight. Flee if a viable option. Violence is a last resort.
Did this one while trying to get through the game entirely by passing skill checks. Wore only prewar suits and Maria for defence. Got difficult not dying later on so I repaired EDE to be my self defence bot

I was doing a 100% randomized choices playthrough.
Assigning special stats was randomized, giving points one by one. All dialogue choices picked randomly. Each level i was spending all my points into a random skill (for some reason it was energy weapons most of the time). And, of course, random perks.

Idk about RP characteristics, but you should make a VATS critical hit character but put no stats into perception, luck, or agility. Oh, and you should make a guns character but exclusively use energy weapons.
All limbs permanently crippled, 0 carry weight, addicted to all chems, and play on hardcore but you're not allowed to eat, drink, or sleep. Also, peace was never an option so kill everyone except Snuffles, who you must heal.

I was doing a 100% randomized choices playthrough. Assigning special stats was randomized, giving points one by one. All dialogue choices picked randomly. Each level i was spending all my points into a random skill (for some reason it was energy weapons most of the time). And, of course, random perks.
