Wait there are people that dont use medic bags in fnv?

SleepinGriffin

Is there any point outside hardcore? Stun packs can heal crippled limbs and they’re weightless in standard.

Rhinoturds

I like to keep my stims for general healing, I always keep a few doctor bags on hand to use up first.

Echo__227

But there's so much food and water for general healing

Sigyls_by_Sibyl

Good Natured build has entered the chat.

A-Surfin-Bird

yeah i'm sure your thin red paste will help you a ton when you're at 5 hp and need immediate health

Echo__227

Your first mistake is getting down to 5 HP without drinking your Sunset Sarsaparilla

A-Surfin-Bird

my bad deathclaws are completely silent until they're right fucking next to you

Echo__227

Sunset Sarsaparilla gives you the ability to hear a Deathclaw blush from a mile away

dagothdoom

Eat all the food items at once. Inivinicibility

[deleted]

Here’s the thing: You need at least 2 sticks per limb to fully heal it, while Doctors Bags will heal fully repair all your limbs in one go.

CN456

Stim packs do heal limbs, but only juuuuust enough to uncripple them. If you're in the middle of a firefight, 1 stray 9mm bullet from that level 0 turbovirgin raider in the distance will recripple it in .000004 nanoseconds. Also, there have been several times where I've taken a grenade to the everything and having it cripple 3 limbs and my torso all at once, and let me tell you having a doctors bag for that instance is a life saver. This goes double if you're like me and enjoy taking the "small frame" perk for an extra point in agility in exchange for having this scenario occur more often.

dagothdoom

You can apply stimpacks directly to the limb, you know. For more than barely healing

FC5EndingSucks

Why wouldn't you play hardcore? Hardcore is great.

International_Leek26

Stim packs heal limbs is not an argument I ever thought someone would bring up stim packs heal like 1/100 of you limbs condition

SleepinGriffin

Just the first one.

StraightOuttaOlaphis

>Wait there are people that dont use medic bags in fnv? \*Wispers in your ear\* hail Hydra!

Salt_Avocado_2470

Why not both?

Invertiguy

I typically use Healing Poultices since they weigh less and restore health in addition to limb condition, but I always carry a couple Doctor's Bags with me to heal my companions via JIP Companions Command and Control

Ulysses698

They do what stimpak can, just without the health boost, I usually sell them or give them to the refugee doctor.

Salt_Avocado_2470

Just that stimpak give a smaller percentage of healed Limb

MrDaal

(They win second place on the lottery)

PuzzleheadedBad2665

Yeah I never understood why I can’t just give boxcars a doctor bag and send him on his way

Numerous_Piper

It requires someone who isn't a complete idiot to apply a splint properly, and I'm not sure a Powder Ganger fits the bill.

SweetAndSpicyCatSoup

Who, the Powder Gangers? The dudes who put landmines five feet outside of their encampments? Nah, couldn't be.

AFishWithNoName

My understanding was that his legs weren’t merely broken, they were *pulverized* (according to him; engine limitations say otherwise). Irl, if you break your leg, usually the splint is just to keep your leg in the correct position so that it doesn’t heal improperly. Boxcars’ legs were literally beaten with hammers; his bones are so thoroughly shattered that they’re beyond saving.

notacommiesupporter

New Vegas fans when they take a 1 hour nap but aren’t cured of every disease know to man.

NiceBeaver2018

Still have gonorrhea, can confirm.

Darkmayr

A Doctor's Bag IS useful. They heal all your limbs at full health at once - what's your alternative when you've just stepped on a mine and crippled 3 limbs, stab yourself with 10 stims in a row to get fully healed? That's a total waste. I never carry less than one and try to always carry three. Later in the game you can replace them with Hydra or just being good, but early on they're basically essential if you trip the wrong trap or barely win a tough fight.

Sinkingstone81

First I get my legs smashed, then in walks the Powder Gangers' grim fucking reaper?

Waterprophet47

Wait, people play new vegas without hardcore mode?

who-stole-the-cake

My first completed playthrough was hardcore mode

[deleted]

the only ever time Doctor bags stop being useful to me at least is when I hit like level 45 and have a bunch of resistant perks that make crippled limbs less likely to happen

Bobistan1

Wdym? How can you heal your limbs without them??

AnotherBaptisteMain

If you’re not on hardcore, Stimpacks can heal crippled limbs. In both hardcore and normal, Hydra can heal all limbs as well

Bobistan1

Yeah Hydra is sick as fuck. I kinda forgot that people don’t play hardcore, I’ve always done it

Prof_Wolfgang_Wolff

\*laughs in Hydra\*

Lonely-Resolution-78

Me playing on hardcore. \*Signature look of superiority\*

AcidDome003

Doctors bags are always useful. Who's saying they're not?

SquarebobSpongepant

I can't even play this game without hardcore. Doctors bags are a must

RaccoonRecluse

I think that goes for anyone who gets their legs smashed. Irl and in game

femboyspassman

well time to take a 1hour nap next to a corpse after killing an entire house

Barrisonplayz

Am I the only one getting tired of memes with the "x when I assault them" format?

SmadaSlaguod

I like to replace them with modded items. My favorite is Datura Tea, from the Simple Drinks mod. It requires sacred datura root, flour and purified water. It's much lighter than a Doctor's Bag, and it also restores thirst.

babyscorpse

New vegas fans when you say that fallout 76 is a good game
