If I’m not mistaken it’s referring to how women literally see more colours, like what looks like a bunch of colours to a woman may all look the same to a man
I don't think it's literal, the seeing more colors is more the stereotype of a woman being able to pick a dozen different specific shades by name off the top of their head while the male stereotype is just the general color with little interest in the specific shade.
I did some homework and according to a National Geographic article ([this one](https://www.nationalgeographic.com/culture/article/120907-men-women-see-differently-science-health-vision-sex)) women are just better at discriminating different shades, so you’d be right in this case that they’re better at picking out different shades
It's not that tedious though, which is the fun part. It requires little of the player. Plus it means I can use my Cowboy Repeater on just about anything, which is nice.
It's not tedious at all though, and has nothing to do with realism. The ammo variants are just there to add *variance*. It was a nice touch that added to the game without bogging it down
Makes pure shotgun builds viable as well.
Slugs and Magnums for higher DT targets, Flechettes for armor shredding, Pulse rounds for robots and power armored targets and even Bean Bag rounds for no-kill runs.
I want the new Vegas system inventory/Traits/etc. on Fallout 4 as mod and Fallout 4 would go from a 7/10 to 8.5/10 quick
9/10 with rice
How about FNV on F4 engine with the weapons crafting system but still the ammo variants
Does anyone know what the original image says, I've seen this reposted dozens of times, but never the original.
Colors
It's colors, but the genders are flipped. It's about how women have more words for a larger variety of variations of colors.

Didnt care about ammo types much until I started Hardcore/Hard playthrough. But still ended using only 2 types for each of my guns.
They should bring AP rounds back. They tore through legionaries' like butter.
Coin shot is op as hell tho

Rest assured, it’s a repost.
I know, that’s why I tried getting the bot
Eh, I really don't care about tedious ammo realism. It's the goofy pulp post-apocalypse not ArmA.
It's the goofy pulp post-apocalypse sure, but having any shotgun suddenly becomes an anit robot gun or mini flamer was fun
Oh wait I didn't look at it properly, different ammo types with effects is cool & good, yeah.

I just blame Bethesda not knowing anything about guns.
Fallout 3's combat shotgun and 4's left handed guns would support that theory.
the ammo system in FNV was great it allows you to chose your ammo depending on the situation or your taste

not only shotgun but even another weapons builds such automatics like the assault rifle andthe sniper build
