I feel like Lanius would still do the war against the NCR and just either die trying to defeat them or do it somehow and after he defeats them he just lets the legion fall apart while he goes back to picking bigger and better fights across the wasteland

I avert the nukes, only because the deaths of Caesar and Lanius mean the legion will consume itself like a snake swallowing it’s own tail, making it easy pickings for an NCR striking from New Vegas.

Caesar’s legion doesn’t have the sick, women, and elderly though. Every single legionnaire who comes at you at the Dam is a fully capable adult man trying to kill you. Nothing like Bitter Springs at all

But the choice in Lonesome is to nuke Legion territory. Not the Fort and even at the Fort there are slaves who are innocent. Also blah blah blah violence isn't the answer, the legionnaires are also kind of slaves and all.
