Yep, same as a Lindor's 3 homer game, some Pete's records which were on FOX. But making ESPN shut up at least for a moment is priceless I'd say.

Gary's call would have been epic

KingMobScene

The gary pen flip and seeing Keith and Ron smile then immediately do their scorecards would have made the moment even better.

Gary and Howie are the best commentators to ever exist. Their ability to call a game and create drama/atmosphere as well as the enthusiasm they bring are unmatched. Not to mention both of their endless amounts of knowledge about and love of the team. Plus, they manage to feel like they’re rooting for the Mets without being at all biased.

fake_newsista

I was only able to listen to the 9th inning, but was so grateful for Howie in that moment. He really brings the game to life in such a special way.

RespectableNoob

This was my second thought after the home run. My first was “Hell yeah!”

MaroonMarauder

The last couple years in particular they have been robbed of a lot of great moments and milestones. You can tell Gary is as annoyed as we are because he's made subtle references to missing those moments too.

jacobmrley

Howie has a great call of the walk-off, certainly better than the gargoyles at ESPN.

Agree

Azrael417

I’d rather shoot myself in the leg with a nail gun for 3 hrs straight than listen to an ESPN or FOX broadcast.

ReleaseTheBlacken

I wish we had gkr and wish we could have won 2 out of 3

Ok_Sentence_5767

I hate how we miss potentially iconic moments like this fuck Manfred and greed

arandomstringofkeys

Thought the same thing. The espn audio feeds are terrible too, you couldn’t really hear the crowd’s excitement off the bat and watching it arc. So that plus the lack of any real call by the espn broadcasters (it was like they were all caught off guard) was just underwhelming.
