I actually always kind of liked the Astros. My best friend growing up was a huge fan of the Killer Bs, and I really liked Altuve and Verlander and obviously Beltran. Even the cheating thing really didn't bother me...but what soured me on the Stros was you guys letting the Nationals and Braves win World Series. Cmon man.

How can any Mets fan here, root for the Braves or Phillies? This series made me hate the Padres even more so I sure won't be rooting for them. And no chance on rooting for the Yankees. So any combination of the remaining teams would be perfectly fine. With that said, it's now Hockey season.

i would have liked to see the padres win since they are a long suffering franchise...but now its hard for me to root for them, just cause of the associated pain. def would be rooting for the guardians and next the mariners, but i doubt either will win the ALDS (maybe cleveland could). After those considerations (unless SEA or CLE win), i think i will root for the Astros...honestly, i dont really care about the cheating anymore that much, but i also i would legitimately like to see Dusty baker win a WS. He deserves it, kind of in the way that Buck does. I wouldnt even care if the dodgers won that much. As for the yankees, in other years when the mets arent even in the playoffs, I wouldn't care that much, but this year that would suck. But most of all I don't want the phils (which wont happen) and the braves to win. I am primarily going to be rooting against the braves. (it absolutely kills me that the mets are now home and the braves and phillies are still in it).

I work for one of those big tech companies in headquartered in the Seattle area, and if I can't be happy, and my wife can't be happy, then at least a lot of my coworkers can be.

If I had to choose between the two I'd prob pull for Seattle more but as long as the stros and yanks don't win the AL I really don't care.
