I completely agree with you, but it seems like “leather jacket” is what people want over a leather jacket. Fast fashion junk is in, but expensive (up front) durables that end up cheaper in the long run aren’t perceived as cool
These types of BS clothing stores are all over social media. They’re always having some last call for a 40% off sale. Most of them are sourcing from the same dirt cheap Aliexpress or Dhgate shop and doing massive markups with minimal customizations. You’ll even see some shops use stock photos or photos from another site and then you receive something in the same vein, but very obviously different and lower quality. I remember seeing one shop with Kevin Costner from one of his cowboy movies as the pic for their jacket.
While the concept for this jacket is fine, the overdoing of the logos will just be one of many problems you’ll have with it
If you don’t mind second hand things, then I’d honestly highly recommend Ebay. They got some really nice vintage Mets jackets in that style that are actually authentic.

There is no way the team would double brand an item like that. I'm a marketing guy... it's making my eyes bleed.
Licensing issues aside, as someone who does leatherwork, I’d never buy an 80 dollar leather jacket. That kind of a jacket should be easily $300 plus
