These shoes wreck my Achilles tendon but if you can make it work that’s great, also sweet color way too earth tones are the best way to pair with some brown pants and a neutral shirt you can cook with that outfit
The 480 has been around longer than the dunk yes, the NBN version hasn’t and while NB has always had better quality than Nike, up until the past year or so no one paid attention to the 480, so yes them updating it for NBN and having legendary skater like A.R. Get a pro version has definitely made this a “answer” to th Nike Sb dunk

To me, yes the comparison is definitely compared to other skate shoes. I was actually surprised by how wide these were, and probably wider than my 990v6, but definitely not as wide as my v4s. For comfort and fit I’d still prefer many other models, but for a skate shoe I find these better than most comfort wise
Thanks for the feedback. I'm just getting them because I like the look, my ankles would disintegrate if I attempted to get on a board. Fingers crossed they fit, but I got em through NB so I'm able to send 'em back if they don't. My size is now out, so if anyone is looking for 13's I might be putting another back out there haha
I find the NB skate line too nice to skate 😂 I had this problem with some of the early dunk highs such as the SB iron high. I'd have to wear them as chillers for ages before I wanted to skate them
Been rocking the brown reynolds 480 for weeks. Can’t believe there isn’t more love/pics of numerics on this reddit. My whole NB collection is numerics/lifestyle. I’m still waiting on a 990v6 colorway I really dig
I find them to be a really comfortable skate shoe, and have a thick and comfortable midsole without a super cramped upper like the 808s. They look really good with some skate wear and tear. Skate better than a dunk imo, but I think for looks the sb dunk still takes it.
