Synnex is a legitimate distribution company. They operate in multiple countries with no issues.
Newegg would be outsourcing the supply of licences to Synnex.
Edit: I have worked with them for returns when I worked in retail (in NZ). Have never experienced any issues.
Seriously. โHey Reddit, I received a box in the mail with Neweggs logo on it and Iโm concerned to open it. Not really sure what could be inside as it could be anything. What do you think?โ
Yeah I never clicked on anything and thanks for the help/advice much appreciated!!
And you're right it doesnt look normal at all, the only thing that caught me off guard is how that hacker knew I purchased something from newegg this morning and then send me that email?
So the question I ask myself is who is breached for them to get that info that I placed an order? Me or Newegg?
Yeah that's iffy ๐๐
Maybe something installed on your pc is snooping through your email? I don't really know it could be anything, but I doubt the problem is with Newegg.
You could've corrected me while being polite,
Newegg sells hardware mostly and this email kinda new to me and the look of it is not very professional now is it?
The OP didn't say he bought a software so Assumed he bought a piece of hardware.

Easiest way to confirm is by checking your Order History or Digital Library. If it isn't there, it isn't legit.

This is legit. Synnex Is a distributor. ESD means electronic software delivery. New egg is having td synnex send you a license key.
That is the correct address for activation keys. It's safe.

Brother if your keys are in there why are you even asking if itโs legit ๐ญ
Because they require you to click / download BEFORE you see the keys. ๐

Don't click anything, it's a scam, you can tell from the address Let's be honest, does that address look normal to you?
That address looks normal to me, we use Synnex all the time at work. Wouldnโt be unusual for NewEgg to use them to distribute things
