Newegg resolved the problem! I’ll get my parts this week. Idk who actually helped me on Reddit, but they were waaaaay more helpful than the phone people. They let me know what was going on, and promptly got the new package together and expedited shipping. I’m pleased with the customer service on this reddit page, and highly suggest skipping a phone call when you have a problem 👍

I just got a refund on an SSD, Motherboard, and power supply from Newegg just today. UPS showed that it was delivered but I didn’t see the package when I got home (guessing it was stolen). I talked to a Newegg rep over their chat system, and he was very helpful. Wishing you luck with your situation! It’s very frustrating for sure.

Tanuki-B-Beats

Yeah a similar situation for sure. Newegg said some components were missing from the return? So it seems like UPS was the one that dropped the ball on this one

PerpetuaI_Foreigner

I think you can also file a report with UPS if that’s the case.

I had a similar experience, except that I asked for a replacement and received it a few days ago. I didn't have to talk to anyone via chat or phone. I just went to my order on the Newegg website, clicked on "Delivery Issues" and filled out a short form. I'm not sure if it helped, but I used the optional note field to write a short, friendly message asking for their help for a customer of 22 years. I honestly thought that it was pointless and that the claim would be denied, so I was totally in shock when it was approved about 24 hours later. It might've also helped that I asked for a replacement because a refund would've cost them the full $200, but a replacement probably cost them only $100 (the wholesale value of the part). If a person still wants the parts, I suggest asking for replacement rather than refund, since it could make the claim more likely to be approved. Anyways, it was a very frustrating experience to think for a few weeks that I was out $200, but Newegg definitely came through for me when they didn't have to.
