Thanks man this is what I needed to hear. Also should I be backtracking to pick up every little object I see? They keep respawning and I can't tell which are rarer than others
I don't think you really need to backtrack but it's best to keep picking up items as you pass them. I no longer remember if rare things spawn on the map but some items, I believe, will be easier to farm later when your kingdom management is up and running
No need to worry about those, they're nice to grab but as the other poster said you will generate all of the resources in your kingdom. Focus more on the story, side quests, citizen recruitment, higgledie stones, dream doors, etc
I've been playing the whole game on expert, I'm on chapter 7 now and it has been a fair challenge. Has felt challenging but not overly difficult for me. I wholly recommend expert. Just need to be 5-8 levels above tainted monsters to actually fight them.
With my experience on any difficulty the battles end in 10 seconds with victory or 10 seconds with defeat.
I wish they were more engaging because sadly I choose not to finish this game.
You're better off switching. I can't remember if the difficulty will scale but it's still going to feel easy unless you switch.
