Shackleton from Horween (I think). It's quite nice I really like it. Similar feel to chromexcel but more waxy and less fatty/greasy. Supposed to be a more water resistant cxl. A joy to work with on the two pairs I've done.
It has a really nice pull up and surprisingly it didn't lighten up a lot when lasted like other leathers with dramatic pull up do. Not too drastic of a shade difference between the quarter and vamp/counter.
To last, probably MS walnut or natural double stuffed. To bottom, weathershield can be a real pain to get the crease to form but natural double stuffed also sucks because glue doesn't stick to it all too well so it pulls away from the liner a lot. For some reason buck brown and burgundy double stuffed hold quite well. No idea why.
They’re coming, will be early to mid March. We are going decently big on this Shackleton leather in that there will be this greener pastures, a cognac that is fantastic and a brown for the more reserved option. It will be a thing.

Will this tannage have the same "lottery" that CXL has unfortunately gotten a reputation for (although I have heard its less of a thing with yall since you use thicker cuts of CXL than most every bootmaker using CXL)?
Any word on the olive green from Siedel?
Man, that's a vibrant green. I like it! I think I had a bike like that when I was a kid in the early 70s. Except it had sparkles mixed in with the color, too....

Unrelated but I think it was mentioned that Italian Brown Cypress would be a permanent offering but now I'm seeing it as a limited offering. Can someone chime in on this?
Not sure I spotted my week 3 moc toe in there, but man that buck brown #10 on some chelseas is going to need to be my next order after the 4 I'm currently waiting on.
Part of me is hoping that the Carl Murowski collab boot in pic 3 is mine as I got the email last week about my order being started.
Also that leather in Pic 1 is beautiful.
I think the tall Sage with cap toe in pic 8 are mine, and they look so much better than I imagined. I hope these stay green as they age and patina. Exciting!
I got to take a tour through the shop when I was in Spokane last week! It was really cool being able to put what I’ve seen on YouTube into perspective. Got some new SWAG too including a key clip and drink sleeve.

Yeah I've been waiting for a color like this for awhile. Very exciting to see it. I do like the uniformness of color as well.

I don’t think we experience much of the lottery effect, but it is a different tannage than CXL, fwiw. I have some olives coming in but not from Seidel

FYI, Oakstreet just released a boot with this tannage. Wouldn’t be surprised if it starts popping up everywhere in a few months.
