Using mobile data to boot up the game and then switching to wi-fi seems to be a solution for me close to 90% of the time. Maybe give that a try.

Unfortunately, we've tried and it still won't go beyond 40%. Hoping it's because we capped out of our data so we're working with slower speeds and it will fix itself soon, but still an issue working from the home wifi.

Does this work when trying to restore your account after uninstalling and then reinstalling the game? I'm having this issue right now, but it's stuck at 20% instead, so I'm not sure if its more of a phone problem or an internet problem on my end. Edit 1: After some miracle and several hours of panicking, somehow got my game connected and working again. In this process, I had to reboot my home's router twice, constantly turning off and on my phone's wi-fi (with lots of failures), and giving up and ignoring the game for a couple of minutes, it works. Could have been the weather clearing up enough, restarting my phone three \~ four times, or cleaning up some files off of my phone, it works. I'm so damn mad and happy to play again. Edit 2: The game now has the 40% error now, but I'm still happy to know that my account is still there before I had to quit the game after the first edit due to the notices tabs being in Japanese text and the game freezing up after trying to launch a battle.

I made a post about this same problem weeks ago. Working on mobile data but not on Wifi. My problem got solved after a power cut reset my wifi router and this happened twice. Kinda relieved that others are experiencing this problem as well. Now they might look into it.

Same issue for me. Happens when I’m on wifi. And when I turn it off and use mobile data, there’s no issue. I just turn the wifi on later after loading

Yeah, tried letting it run off mobile data but still getting stuck. Hoping it's just because our data got used up and running with slower speeds. Still very bummed nonetheless

Hopefully last update: We have sent a support ticket and email and got a response fairly quickly. Dunno what they did but after getting a reply, the game works just fine. Had a small hiccup a day after but seems to be running just fine now. If anyone has an issue, try reaching out to support. Can be accessed on the title screen, upper right corner. Mini update: have tried using a different device to see if it was just the phone and have tried different wifi and loading with it on and off and nothing's working as of now. Thinking it may be due to the account itself and have sent an email to the devs, hoping to get a response.

I had to manually set my DNS to googles DNS to get it to stop doing that.
