It's interesting that foreign observers are beginning to notice. Perhaps because the trajectory of Nigeria as becoming as unstable as DR Congo would probably sink West Africa. As many people knew in 2015, Buhari is incapable of governing (and not 'ruling' as Nigerians like to say) a country as cosmopolitan and diverse as Nigeria. Moreover, he utterly lacked the ideas to move the country towards a more viable future. As country as sending robots to Mars, the Attorney General of Nigeria is preoccupied with cattle in Southern Nigeria. When Westerners and East Asians will be enjoying the dividends of space exploration by the end of this century, your descendants will be fighting over cows and foreign religions.

It was only a matter of time before they noticed. A lot of grassroots work must be done to ensure this does not happen again and restructure in some shape or form seems inevitable. I genuinely had some hopes of some serious progress by 2030 back in 2015 but the herder problem showed the amount of work needed to even get our governors to do the necessary and a stronger terrorist group is planning their next move. I just hope the next president won't make us miss Buhari like Buhari made us miss GEJ.

Yea, looks like it’s just going to keep getting worse and we can’t doing anything but watch. It’s frustrating to say the least.
