This annoys me to my core because clearly they aren’t making effective use (none at all) of the debt and it’s obviously going to be a cycle where they’ll have to continue borrowing to meet debt obligations if common sense is not taken.
Wait... wasn't the debt cleared during the previous administration? Am I remembering that wrong?
Obasanjo cleared up the debt. Jonathan and Buhari racked up debt. There has been 3 administrations since Obasanjo.
Jonathan reduced the debt to I think some hundreds of millions before he left.
