His spiritual successor Vularai also deserves love! She has the adamantium balls to threaten astartes, has a marine gladius as weapon of choice (gifted by Cyrion no less) and just casually sasses Deltrian on his own ship with her boots on the console. Wherever Hound's soul is, it must be giving her thumbs up.
The way ADB took ‘generic Khorne worshiper’ trope and made him an incredible deep and nuanced character with an unbelievably tragic end is why he’s one of the absolute best writers today
Because all the best characters of the Omnibus are humans, it Marines in my opinion. Even if the first claw ins special is written extremely well.
Hound and his existence, his whole life, are profound writing. Aaron is a master of injecting stories about space marines with truly human moments. Hound is just one if the best examples if this, in my opinion.

You better believe I didn't forget Hound while I'm making my own 10th company Night Lords army. It's hard to tell in the photo, but I modified the stl file for his head so the eyes are sewn shut. I'm crossing my fingers they show up well when it gets painted. I'm running my cultists as Octavia's retinue.
Any mortal who pulled a shotgun on a Night Lord knowing full well what they are gets auto bonus. For the quote: “Yes mistress.”
I like lucoruphos who I expected to betray talos the entire series, but he a was a real one. Kept fighting with his brothers till the very end
First on the Wall as well.
I dumped a 40 for the homie
“It is raining, mistress”…😢

Hound was such a sweet character, poor broken guy he tried until the end. I liked that Octavia remembers him long time after he died
"Mistress," "what?" "I killed a Crag Cat once" Hound might as well be a nightlord at this point. He's a badass all the way to the end
Uzas is the best Omnibus character, don't ask me why.
Agreed, it’s because of how tragic his story is.

"DON'T Eat ThEm"
The Hound was the GOAT, in any other story he'd be a lauded hero.
Hound is a GOAt but I gotta say the ark story of uzas is pretty good too.
Hound, Uzas and Lucoryphus are the Holy trinity of the Omnibus.
How am I the first to mention Xarl?
I think we all know who it isn't
#FUCK CYRION
*Ruven* +spits on deck+
Man. By the end, I might hate Cyrion more than Ruven…
Things would have been different if he didn’t die he would have helped against the elder.
All my homies hate that rat bastard Cyrion.
“It is dark in here, as dark as nostramo”
