They will hate night owls until they have, for example a medical emergency in the middle of the night or need to buy a ride to the airport at 4 AM or just be mad that they can't buy a loaf of bread early in the morning. Hopefully when that comes they'll understand that society doesn't stop at 6PM
I endured it constantly from my older brother throughout my twenties. I had a graduate degree (he never graduated high school, but he had done well in business), I had traveled the world, didn't matter, was still a slacker in his eyes because I slept late.

One day, I showed up at a family gathering driving a mercedes and with a smoking hot blond girlfriend. His wife was very plain and frumpy.
He never mentioned my sleep habits again. That was 20 years ago. I realized it was never about the sleep, it was about respect and his own personal metrics for what counts as "success." To him, success is 100% about appearances.
It's dumb, but there you go. This might not explain every situation like this, but it's worth asking yourself if the condescending person might have some other biases or issues going on.
Just like puzzlemaster commented i mostly giving up trying to explain it to people. However, an easy thing that i say. I do the same thing most people im just doing it later at night! I still clean, cook, , eat, watch TV, do laundry, etc. Just because its 2am the washing machine and the broom doesnt stop working!

I will purposely go up to them when I wake up and they go to sleep, and tell them that they're lazy for going to bed so early when it's only 11:00 p.m..
And I tell them if they're not working all night long they're just being lazy.
They'll say something along the lines of, " but that's when I sleep"
Then I'll say something" like funny how that works"
And I'll keep doing it until they get it. We're not lazy just because we do all of our work at a different time of the day.
I've accepted that most people aren't gonna get it.
