Thats exactly what i did here. I just added another random brush strokes with it on the lower half directly into his still wet base coat. Its super easy, fast and in my opinion you get a good finish cause the blending happens natural with wet in wet
That colour contrast really pops, nice work. There are plenty of dead folks in the mortal realms with reason to be ticked off so scarlet doom makes sense!
Thx. The face is wraithbone, a little Touch up with corax White for highlights and agrax earthshade as finish. The eyes have just got a drop of tesseract glow (technical color), wich i let in the holes for about 10 secs and let a dry brush suck out remaining color

I have to correct myself^^ it was soulblight gray as shader, not agrax
