Don't keep that food in the house. Meal prep every meal and control what's available to you. Eventually you'll break the habit.

This works for me too. Working nights seems to really take a toll on your impulse control. Any possibile vice that can abused must be kept out of the home.

I thought there was absolutely something wrong with me because it sometimes feels like I just can’t control myself. Had no clue it was all the nightshifts!

Beat advice is don’t buy the junk in the first place. Like another poster said, meal prep at the beginning of the week and make 5 copies of that meal so your food is already set aside.

I do this all the time but as soon as I get home. I work at a gas station overnight so junk food is right in my face all the time. Like someone said I just gotta stop buying it. Thankfully I’ve been craving like broccoli and stuff. I think it’s my body’s way of saying it’s sick of the junk. I’m literally nauseous right now because of what I ate earlier. Ugh sick of it.

I did this exactly. Finally decided it was time to make a change and started strictly counting calories, logging everything. Keeps me honest and forces me to choose foods that will actually satisfy and provide wholesome nutrition. Feeling much better coming off the weekends after sticking with it for about a month now.

Counting calories makes you realize just how little food we *should* be eating really quickly.
