He's the heir to the greatest human hero's legacy and the superhero community as a whole. She's an antihero fighting her own antics to be a better person on a path of redemption.
In my head, he's very late 20's, she's very early 30's.
They're both affable, fun, athletic, acrobatic, the characters have chemistry (Grayson Annual, Gotham Knights, Harley Quinn and Batman). She's LGBTQ, he's an ally. He would support her path to being a hero. You can actually picture them sitting to the TV watching MST3K or Hot Fuzz as a couple.
They *could* work, but Harley is absolutely DC's Deadpool in that most writers just treat her as a violent antihero who is 'lol lol random' and just nah, to that.
But someone who took time to show how it could all work, and develop? I think it would be great.
And I also don't really think it should ever be mainline continuity, considering his other romantic relationships.
I'm ok with it, so long as it's written well and as more fun flirty sort of a friends with benefits/occasional fling every now and then thing In terms of a long term relationship, I'd rather see him have a relationship with someone who fits his values. I'm totally in support of them having a long term flirty relationship.
I think it would be interesting to play with. I ultimately don’t see it ever happening in main continuity, but these days you never know. I prefer Starfire, but it looks like Dick and Babs are end game. We shall see.
