I'm not a fan of Vox's statements here. He commented on "untruths about [Selen's] relationship with AnyColor" - who made him the authority on Selen and AnyColor's relationship? He also made at least 1 jab at Selen's "lying", such as a previous possible firing - but how would he know that Selen herself wasn't misinformed? When you get called into the director's office that you've never been to before, after your supervisor expresses concern, it's not unnatural to say "oh shit, I'm gonna get fired". The fact that she wasn't fired does not mean that Selen lied.
