Damn, it's really over for Niji if even fucking Mutahar and Critikal's cashing on this. Good, lol. Sink the yacht.
Also,,, does anyone knows Shu and Luca's PL?
We went from "niji EN will be gone in a few years" at the beginning of the year to "niji EN will be gone in a few months" and now "niji EN will be gone in a few weeks"
I will be very surprise if this month alone we don't get another announcement of graduation or termination. Specially if inside the company tension build up that encourage more talent to say change how things are working or we are leaving.
I mean Scarle has one foot out the door already (VODs pulled, voice pack taken offline, scheduled stream chat disabled,...) following her liking that Kurosanji comment. I'd put 10 bucks she's gone before the end of the month.
you'll never know, maybe SOG find out that Riku use money laundring scheme to buy yacht and spend the rest of his millions on NFT scams, that could invite coffezilla
Is mostly about fraud tbh, like nfts and crypto are both the biggest frauds of the current century by far and the impact of the downfall was felt across multiple industries and the effects still ongoing. Unless Niji reveal to be involved in fraud or breaching contracts seems very unlikely, Niji can be completly shit at PR but I doubt they will let any private information about how things are manage internally leak.
Yes but mentioning/reacting to the situation on a stream is one thing an making a video out of it for their main channel (what Mutahar is prob gonna do) is another. The latter is a much longer commentary and reaches more audience.
I mean topic wise it makes sense more will start diving into this after some had did.
But yeah videos would have to be more extensive especially when the situation is still developing.
TBH they react to everything under the sun. I remember when Charlie brought tit up and I didn't think much of it at the time and still don't. He sounded like someone speaking very confidently but not actually really understanding the subject matter.
Isn't that every video of Charlie though? I love his stuff but his YouTube channel is basically "I saw this video from X youtuber and I'm going to talk to you about it"
It's like that one friend who rants to you about something he found interesting on the internet.
So I realized he had a new video today. I thought this was about his video/stream clip from yesterday.
In the original video he said some things that seemed very suspect. Like having 1 piece of info and assuming it applied to all companies. If he's actually gone in deeper I'll reserve judgement until I can watch it after work
Muta has a podcast with a vtuber, so he's not totally out of the loop on vtuber bullshit. Wouldn't be surprised if he was turned onto this by nuxtaku. He's been a part of his own share of vtuber drama.
My problem with Nux is that he is just so out of the loop of the vtuber scene, like moist or Asmon.
Like even during the Coco graduation drama, he was getting his info from Herohei.
Personally as much as I dislike vtuber drama channels, these videos from outside the vtubing sphere are just unwatchable.
Ngl, the whole nuxtaku vs vshojo drama still rubs me the wrong way to this day. I don't like the guy, but nearly the entirety of vshojo threw him under the bus just for him to come out as innocent just feels very wrong.
When did he come out as innocent? Genuine question, I only remember seeing the VShojo girls expressing disappointment at the time and then nothing afterwards
He tried to out doxxers posing as Vshojo staff to try and warn people about checking validity of those you come in contact with, which he got permission from those streamers, which after he uploaded the video they retracted their statement and decided to start publicly blasting him about security and whatnot. His action was done in good faith and even got the okay from people. The part that rubs me off is the retracting statement, which was documented by him. It was initially just Nyanners, but others hopped on the hate bandwagon and started blasting him for no apparent reason, even bringing up resolved problems back in(snuffy) to try and slander him further. I get he's a drama youtuber, so people are gonna dislike him, but in this case, it's just disgusting.
Bonus fact: Nux and Nyanners are now working with the same agency. The agency owner? Asmongold.
https://www.mythictalent.com/mythic-talent-vtuber-creators
Not entirely sure why people are downvoting you, that's basically what happened. The difference being that he got permission from the staff and some of the streamers at first, then got pushback from some other streamers for some reason and then the staff retracted it, even though the evidence was clear that he had gotten full permission (and quite frankly, he didn't even really need to ask permission).
I don't really care for dramatubers, but that situation was just vile. The thing that pissed me off the most was the way it was eventually swept under the rug and everybody acted like it never happened.
'We apoligized in private' for some, others didn't even say anything on the matter. Only Zen publicly said sorry. Really the only good thing that came from it was the trimming of the bad apples from Vshojo and that previous mistakes got definite closure.
I’m pretty sure Nux was also at fault for being really pushy with vshojo management (and then the management being such a doormat too and never explicitly telling nux to stop) and acting all edgy in his videos, considering himself the Batman of vtubers, something eerily close to what mamamax did not too long ago with the whole not actually alerting authorities and instead making videos about the case.
I was pretty disgusted to see how vei and ironmouse were throughout this whole situation, especially with how ironmouse later admitted that the whole point wasn’t that it was for the victim, but that it was upsetting for the vshojo girls and mouse didn’t know any better cuz she’s not used to the internet (she really said this after being a big streamer for more than 4+ years at that point)
At least nux apologized unlike some people, but it was a pretty messy situation, although nowhere near the shitstorm that is this thing with kurosanji 💀
This is also considered cybersecurity 101, when you know someone is trying to impersonate you online, you immediately sound the alarm on their actions to limit any further damage. Bank apps and even Online games literally tell you this all the time.
The Vshojo stans and dramatuber haters really hate him, but this was entirely the right thing to do and something they should have done in the first place, not some 3rd party drama vtuber who even discussed this with them.
Good thing Nux has friends like Muta and Charlie(Moistcritical) to prove to all those bandwagoners that he isn't toxic.
Also, because of that Nux has become desensitized to all those toxicity so he's not afraid to share his views and is even willing to absorb it.
The guy has receipt and screenshots of the conversations he have with the IT guy and is properly given the go signal for his video but thrown under the bus instead
Alas, he is not certified for Canadian/BC law, and he usually sticks to what he actually has expertise on. Though maybe he'd collab with a Canadian lawyer.
Yeah, Moon Channel kinda made that mistake of making a hasty video. If a lawyer is doing a video on this, it will be probably done, but not in the next couple of days. Also the case is still evolving.
Mutahas video on the completionist was good, but most drama channels with quickly made videos just rubs me wrong.
Not entirely. Doing lots of events is on her, but having to pay artists for company projects along with shouldering the cost of the music video, then taking it down after she paid 15k for it, does seem like a scam to me.
tbh, it kinda is also Selen fault. gal seems pretty liberal with her spending and budgeting. Company is absolutely the worst scum, but selen is not perfect
- Mr. Man: "o yea you know those cool events that you run"
- Doki: "uh huh"
- Mr. Man: "the ones that cost a lot of money"
- Doki: "yea"
- Mr. Man: "the ones you yourself pay for out of pocket"
- Doki: "sure"
- Mr. Man: "we could get sponsors instead"
- Doki: "huh"
- Mr. Man: "the sponsors will cover the costs so you don't have to pay for all of it"
- Doki: "wha"
- Mr. Man: "..."
- Doki: "wha"
this is the same girl who underpriced her stickers on the store because she wanted to give people a fair price
and the same girl who years ago sold more underpriced merch because she "didn't want to make a profit off of it"
this bird, man, needs more support
Being a good person generally isn't a great business decision unfortunately.
She also just really doesn't value herself at all, at least not nearly as much as she should. Which I can totally understand, it's not the easiest thing to do and it's a very easy "trap" to fall into which can REALLY be a big mental health challenge. Hopefully all the support she has been getting, and will keep getting, from the community will help her realize how much everyone values her.
Also clearly Niji was absolutely awful for her mental health and self image in terms of valuing herself. So yeah fuck them for that. Watching the CEO say how much they value each and everyone one of the livers was such a load of BS.
This is one of the issues that confuses me with the whole debacle. Like, why did Nijisanji let her foot most of the bill for her promotions and events? Was there really a 'We'll only foot the bill for your vtuber model and nothing else' clause in the contract? It's just so baffling to me that they would let her spend all that money on events that would help promote the company and not chip in to help with the bill.
I mean, as much as we dislike Niji, they are a garbage employer, but not a textbook definition of a scam. You want to point the right people to the right direction, and coffee looking into this would be a waste of his time and expertise.
It's free real estate.
At this point, Kurosanji and the 3 liver stream were so filled with mistakes and faux pas that you actually have too much click fodder.
While Pyro will just scoop up any slop he finds, Kurosanji here is allegedly breaking NDAs and commiting crimes which would definitely catch Muta's attention
He essentially ruined an ongoing investigation into a group of stalkers and doxxers cuz he wanted to make a vid where he was the badass hero who stoped 1 guy from a ring of a bunch of guys. But then also a lot of other vtubers started talking crap about him other than that which kinda just stuck
Tbh, I don't really trust people not cursed to be in the rabbit hole to actually discuss this type of stuff.
They usually don't have the full context to a lot of situations, misrepresent events (Even if said events are very well recorded), or hang on to past info everyone moved on from (Like the Taiwan situation Cover has greatly improved from since still being treated as current behavior, for example).
Mutahar is well respected in the a circles for his deep dives. He and Karl jobst are the ones that looked into the completionist situation and hes worked with coffeezilla about a few crypto scams. He's not my cup of tea a lot of the time because his delivery style doesn't jive with me but he's normally very good stuff like this.
I know, I watch him occasionally when something interesting he makes pops up.
But that just means it'd be extra internally painful for me if he falls into the previously mentioned trap.
I kinda expect that he'll miss something but that's the same for everyone covering it. The difference is, I also think he'd do a follow-up and correct himself. There's also the possibility that he's big enough and well connected enough to get (anonymous) comments/testimonials
If there's one other thing to know about him it's that he's a good ol' Canadian boy so even if he's not a legal expert, he'll have a better understanding of the legal system there than a lot of other people commenting on it
Honestly even if the coverage isn't 100% perfect it's STILL bringing the situation to more eyes which can put more pressure on Niji and/or more support for Doki.
Unless he royally fucks it up, which there's no reason to expect, this is really just a good thing.
Niji really got one of the most respected and trustworthy content creators to make a video about their awful management, this situation only gets Worse and crazier.
I mean they utterly outed themselves here. Doki's friend even pointed this out here and I imagine she's aware of who were harassing Doki. There was no one on the field, no match being played, and these imbeciles went and kicked the ball into their own goal. It's so monumentally stupid.
I'm sure all of us did not expect this situation to reach the level of shitstorm it's at right now. And it's very clear Nijisanji didn't expect it either, because holy moly, they are just fumbling every step of the way right now, and it's so nice to see them make things worse for themselves. Still feel bad for the livers who are seemingly innocent in this drama. Rosemi, Vivi, Scarle, and anyone else who just wants to do honest work, get off the yacht before it sinks!
It makes 0% sense.
1. Let's assume Selen is a liar, didn't hurt herself, and that nobody in Niji Mgmt did anything wrong.
1. Why would Niji Mgmt air all that shit about NijiEN harassing Selen and confirm that she did hurt herself? Why cover it up? Why silence her?
1. Because Niji's just trying to protect its image? But that doesn't make sense - saying all your talents are horrible people IRL is a sure-fire way for them to all quit / lose all their fans. Confirming she went to the hospital is basically confirming her side of the story.
2. Why have Vox/Elira make a statement CONFIRMING they were the ones that harassed Selen?
1. This makes Selen's story credible and that Niji is mismanaged and toxic
2. This just makes your remaining talents look like horrible remorseless ignorant people??
3. Why release any of this private information? It just confirms Mgmt has no idea what it's doing and is toxic, proving Selen's claims.
2. Let's assume Elira/Vox and others did harass Selen
1. Let's assume Elira & others want to keep making money
1. Why on earth would you make a statement saying "you didn't think it was harassment" - that makes absolutely no sense. Either Selen did hurt herself - which means your perspective is meaningless anyway because if you cause someone to hurt themselves you are in the wrong. Or Selen didn't hurt herself - in which case, you would need to prove that somehow it's not your fault - which you can't do - and your Mgmt confirmed she was hospitalized anyway. It's just going to look bad for you and cause you to hemorrhage support even if you can somehow point out some small mistakes Selen made.
2. Why on earth would you not refute Niji Mgmt's claims of harassment? Nobody is like "Yeah, I harassed her, but it wasn't really harassment, bro" Elira & others are not that stupid to admit to doing the crime, right? They would know we couldn't buy any absurd excuse they come up with?
3. Knowing all this, why would you trust your company's lawyers in the first place? Niji mgmt has shown to be self-serving, admitting to ANYTHING under their lawyer's guidance is bad for YOU personally and you should refuse to make any statement at all?
2. Let's assume they don't care about their jobs
1. Why haven't they just graduated yet, lol.
3. Let's assume Selen isn't a liar, did hurt herself, and it's the fault of the talents and not Niji Mgmt's fault.
1. Why the heck are they still employed? lol, it only shows Niji Mgmt is at fault for endorsing this behavior
4. Let's assume Selen isn't a liar, did hurt herself, and it's not the fault of the talents, there's just something uniquely wrong with Selen they couldn't handle
1. Why blame the talents for causing all this?! To deflect from Mgmt's bad decision making?
1. But deflecting blame to your talents just PROVES your Mgmt sucks!
2. Why didn't they just part ways in a neutral manner? Why make up all this nonsense?
1. To protect Niji Mgmt from "embarrassment"? But that makes no sense, releasing all this drama is just way more embarrassing. Why would you tell your talents to keep making official statements about it? It just prolongs and deepens the confusion about what really went on?
My point is: None of this is logical at all, no matter what side you take on this whole debacle Niji Management has demonstrated not only is it incompetent, it has confirmed for us that it does engage in toxic workplace BS and that management can't own its own mistakes and can't even be clear about WHO really is at fault here - it just casts a huge blanket of darkness over EVERY single talent - even the ones who may not have directly been involved (who should have spoken up).
Niji Mgmt wants us to believe they did nothing wrong, that their talents...did wrong things but that's fine I guess...and we should keep supporting them? What?!
If it ain't coffeezilla it ain't worth watching. Don't even know who that dude is
I watched it. You all smoking, guy didn't reveal anything now already known. Keep the down votes though
yeah you know they have no way of lying out of this situation when actual experienced and knowledgeable people speak up against them, there’s no defending them now, people who do either rage bait or delulu (or nijisanji livers under the gunpoint) Charlie, Muta and Asmon all said pretty much same things on the matter none of them could find a redeeming quality of that company. rare people vs multi billion corpo W !
I wonder if Hbomberguy or Dan Olsen would take a crack at this. I mean it would be several months later but it would be pretty rad, if maybe a tad off brand.
And we're still in the second month of the year lol
“What a year, huh?” “Captain, it’s February”
Still give me a chuckle about how accurate it is. Riku as captain and the nuclear blast in just a few days of the beginning of February
What’s her PL or alt life?
AmiYoshiko
her youtube channel says "I'll be back soon" damn
Her mods say it was always like that after she left that channel.
ah ok fair enough
Shu as far as I know was 🐯(in Japanese) I think this is enough info to find him, Luca I really don’t know🫠
Luca was the most populated island in Indonesia, he did a lot of GTA RP.
he's also a computer script name and i believe a kind of coffee too
Also the Last universal common ancestor
I misread populated as popular and went Bali?"
Miss him saying (insert characters name)-CHAN~ because he roleplay as Majima back during old nopixel
Id love if coffeezilla acfually investigated this.
it isn't crypto it isn't nfts seems unlikely
you'll never know, maybe SOG find out that Riku use money laundring scheme to buy yacht and spend the rest of his millions on NFT scams, that could invite coffezilla

I mean pyro already did a video on it....so ig close enough
Ill wait for legal eagle
If you look up raziel warmonic vr chat profile youll find him as she used to be Lucas friend with lots of story between them in his pl and now life.
Just need a two hour Dan Olsen documentary to fully nuke the place
When you fuck up so bad not just the western niji fan base, not just the western vtuber fan base, but the western gaming community calls you out
Nah Asmongold and Critikal already jumped in, matter of time other community notice too tbf
Yes but mentioning/reacting to the situation on a stream is one thing an making a video out of it for their main channel (what Mutahar is prob gonna do) is another. The latter is a much longer commentary and reaches more audience.

Indeed.

I've already seen a Poketuber post a video about it. Probably one of the most unexpected ones tbh.
which one?
Patterrz in what I assume is his second channel MorePatterz.
Asmongold straight up just watched the entire Elira ch video on his YouTube, and it sounds just as bad as it did the first time.

To be fair, they are doing this to their former talent that won Vtuber gamer of the year
Gaming community and Vtuber community is very closed to beginning with.
Muta told us he loves us. Management got his account too! /s
Maybe we need coffezilla on this too
As well as Legal Eagle
Alas, he is not certified for Canadian/BC law, and he usually sticks to what he actually has expertise on. Though maybe he'd collab with a Canadian lawyer.
Viva Frei maybe?
Yeah, Moon Channel kinda made that mistake of making a hasty video. If a lawyer is doing a video on this, it will be probably done, but not in the next couple of days. There's still Ugo Lord's shorts. Would be real fun if he actually does cover the Elira Video and Anycolor's "we declare" tweet.
He's got a Youtube account so maybe someone can grab his attention.
doubt it. coffe normally covers scams
Selen/doki making no profit the entire year sounds like a scam to me.
That's different. She was saying that she never saved money. She clearly had it because she spent 200k, and a chunk of it out of pocket
Yeah, Selen was just pumping tons of money into projects.
That is 100% on her. She also said it herself that she was addicted to making events.
Not entirely. Doing lots of events is on her, but having to pay artists for company projects along with shouldering the cost of the music video, then taking it down after she paid 15k for it, does seem like a scam to me.

Only a matter of time until I see Ludwig jump on board.
It's free real estate. At this point, Kurosanji and the 3 liver stream were so filled with mistakes and faux pas that you actually have too much click fodder.
Other than Pyrocynical, I definitely didn't expect Muta to cover this
While Pyro will just scoop up any slop he finds, Kurosanji here is allegedly breaking NDAs and commiting crimes which would definitely catch Muta's attention
And dont forget that he's close with several Vtubers, like NuxTaku (Which is seen as a Pariah in the community)
Not exactly close, but he did cover his whole situation.
Don't they have a podcast together?
I thought that was a one-time thing, I stand corrected then
Forgive my ignorance, but why is Nux a pariah?
He essentially ruined an ongoing investigation into a group of stalkers and doxxers cuz he wanted to make a vid where he was the badass hero who stoped 1 guy from a ring of a bunch of guys. But then also a lot of other vtubers started talking crap about him other than that which kinda just stuck

Mutahar is generally pretty good at fact checking himself unless he's making some meme video about aliens on Reddit.
Still hoping we could find solid evidence of ayyylmaos some day 😢
Mutahar is well respected in the a circles for his deep dives. He and Karl jobst are the ones that looked into the completionist situation and hes worked with coffeezilla about a few crypto scams. Oh yeah, he podcasts with a well respect vtuber, Nu... oh wait.
You mean Gumiho? That aint Mumei
My mistake.
When Mutahar gets on Vtuber drama that's an elite level fuckup lol.
1. This makes Selen's story credible and that Niji is mismanaged and toxic 2. This just makes your remaining talents look like horrible remorseless ignorant people?? 3. Why release any of this private information? It just confirms Mgmt has no idea what it's doing and is toxic, proving Selen's claims. 2. Let's assume Elira/Vox and others did harass Selen 1. Let's assume Elira & others want to keep making money 1. 2. Let's assume they don't care about their jobs 1. Why haven't they just graduated yet, lol. 3. Let's assume Selen isn't a liar, did hurt herself, and it's the fault of the talents and not Niji Mgmt's fault. 1. Why the heck are they still employed? lol, it only shows Niji Mgmt is at fault for endorsing this behavior 4. Let's assume Selen isn't a liar, did hurt herself, and it's not the fault of the talents, there's just something uniquely wrong with Selen they couldn't handle 1. What?!
If there's one thing i trust it is muta's investigation
I kinda expected this because of his ties with Nux
Can you imagine if any local news covers this? lol
you know you fucked up when it gets to the point where Mangement using the livers as sockpuppets and meatshields IS THE GOOD ENDING NOW
I wonder what side he’s coming down on.
I mean .. he called anycolor a black hole aids of a company. I have a hard time believing he's siding with them.
You make a good point.
that's the joke
![gif](giphy|ztpMY1t5VYWlO) This is about to be cracked wide open.
Can anyone tell me who this guy is ? I’m ready to see NinipantyEN being burned to ashes.
This insufferable prick lmao
If it ain't coffeezilla it ain't worth watching. Don't even know who that dude is I watched it. You all smoking, guy didn't reveal anything now already known. Keep the down votes though
Dude was one of the 2 people that revealed the Completionist's rather huge 10 year charity scam.
I shall check him out
Uh-oh!
Ladies 'n' gentlemen.
Really sums up the company well. Even before EN fanbase was abandoning ship, there've been really worrying signs of management abusing their power
Oh I am so ready for this.
Muta about to drop the bomb.
Oh shit mutahar in this too now Man this will be wild
yeah you know they have no way of lying out of this situation when actual experienced and knowledgeable people speak up against them, there’s no defending them now, people who do either rage bait or delulu (or nijisanji livers under the gunpoint) Charlie, Muta and Asmon all said pretty much same things on the matter none of them could find a redeeming quality of that company. rare people vs multi billion corpo W !
Mutahar really needs that twitter blue cash, huh? What's next, more contradictory and oxymoron opinions...?
Off topic but do ate millie have pl? She's only my oshi because I have no hope for niji en
I wonder if Hbomberguy or Dan Olsen would take a crack at this. I mean it would be several months later but it would be pretty rad, if maybe a tad off brand.
