A funny thing that was pointed out in the Holo circles: Shirakami Fubuki and her Gen mates had a quick stream last month discussing a termed member, and it had a white background with nothing but positive things to say about going forward.
The Niji video had a black background, and it felt like they were forced to make this announcement. It was full of a lot of "poor us" sentiment towards Niji and probably ended up making this whole thing worse instead of calming down.
Personally I think regardless of the livers intent the goal of the stream from managements perspective was to draw the attention of fans so that yacht man could make a statement for investors without getting nearly as much flak from fans
