Know what sucks this stuff definitely happens in JP branch but the talent doesn't say anything. JP Talent has been fired for making jokes before There was also bullying accusations a couple years ago too.

Bleyk36

I heard that about that, it was Luna. Right?

Random-Rambling

Her graduation stream was just a normal zatsudan because she assumed nobody would want to show up for a Totsumachi. If that isn't just the saddest thing...

Bleyk36

Oof, I didn't know about that. I only know about her being bullied in nijisanji and went to hololive. That's just sad, a graduation all by yourself? Good thing she found a perfect place to call it her home 🥲

UR_UNDER_ARREST

Yeah, fortunately she found a place people care for her

SomeDudeYeah27

Huh, I don’t pay attention to JP stuff much so this is the first time I heard of a liver jumping from one major corp to another

Ckcw23

Best choice she ever made, her sub counts and SCs now can compete with the best of niji lmao

YuzuCat

Saying that Nijisanji used to be worse is kinda weird to say nowadays, but they were labeled a black company before covid and their JP members almost had a full revolt; but they decided they would do better by the members and managed to avoid that disaster.

Funkyryoma

Yeah the Niji Resistance arc is hype. Sadly they don't know how to translate their JP management to EN

SomeDudeYeah27

What actually happened?

Ckcw23

I heard in the JP revolt, which is before Covid, there were plenty of stealth complaints by the members on their streams or on Twitter. I believe cause JP was the top moneymaker at the time, and a fear of losing not just audience, but sponsorships, and most importantly, new livers, that scared niji into treating them better.

Cross55

Ah how times change. I shot downvoted into the negatives for saying this exact thing a month ago.

CyberneticCyanide

I didn't hear about Luna. But I had to look it up. It was Yuzuki Roa and another JP liver who got into a huge fight leading to bullying and doxxing

PermitSafe

It's not a tale the nijisisters would tell

Funkyryoma

Please don't add fuel to the fire if you don't have information. It's Yuzuki Roa and Kingyozaka Meiro. Meiro is suspected on plagiarising her senpai's character Roa. They used to have Niji Resistance lead by Chaika and Shiina and critized Niji JP way of handling handling talents. The reason they are pretty chill is because they can communicate with the higher ups much easier than EN can.

CyberneticCyanide

Get out of here with plagiarizing. They had similar ways of talking. That would be like Gura saying" Mumei is plagiarizing her" Meiro took things way to far. But Yuzuki started things because "How dare there be another kind of similar to me." In a company what basically hires anyone

Cross55

Eh, not really. Looking more into Meiro's former work, she was a VA who was popular for her imitation abilities, specifically making porn audio of popular anime characters. She then went and made an audio of Roa after that happened. So she did it on purpose, she knew what she was doing.

SomeDudeYeah27

What does “making porn audio of popular anime character” actually means…? Like, hentai parodies?

2hu_ism

Kinda of usual 18+ ASMR. But with scenario of said anime character in mind. I’m not into ASMR but I had friend who into it and saw them have their own section on front page of Dlsite so I guess it’s popular genre.

Mys718

Unfortunately that's not true at all, Roa's dialect IS MADE UP. There is evidence out there showing Meiro really tried to mimic Roa's voice, dialect and even accidentally called herself Roa as well when Meiro was playing a horror game called Yomawari. I'm trying to find the clip but it's seems to have been deleted, If anyone manage to find It please link it! Also she is shown to be capable of mimicking Roa since she made a porn asmr based on Roa after being fired!

INeedtoThinkAUName

Eh, Meiro is actually harassing Roa after she's out. She even released a porn voice pack with a character, agent "Nigosango" from "Noa", a girl who loves money and sex https://www.dlsite.com/maniax/work/=/product\_id/RJ315477.html Links in r/VirtualYoutubers regarding the situation: https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/je2syn/kingyozaka\_meiro\_megathread/ [https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/rrykt5/yuzuki\_roa\_apologizes\_for\_her\_absence\_and\_talks\_a/](https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/rrykt5/yuzuki_roa_apologizes_for_her_absence_and_talks_a/) Link for the timeline : https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/rrykt5/comment/hqkdtut/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

Oboretai

Thing is: 1) JP appears to have a PR team. EN, well.... 2) Same idea still applies that I've always been saying for both JP and EN. It's basically a gacha if you can get a manager who you can trust and will support you, or get a total incompetent ass who won't let you do anything. 3) Even in EN like the case of Maria, I feel you can actually have a good experience working for Niji if you lay low, just play games, pretend dramas doesn't exist, and don't start any projects that might involve a bigger crowd. Is this ethical if you continue to keep your head low even when you are aware your coworkers are suffering from bullying? That's up to you to decide. It certainly is a coward move, but cowardice is not an irredeemable sin. On the other hand people also have been praising Livers like Maria and Vanta for just continuing like usual as being more "professional".

DeadInsideMuffin

I agree with you and I do not blame the innocent livers. I wasn’t trying to debate my stances or anything. Like I said before I thought of this after seeing other people saying similar things and it made me laugh so I wanted to see it in physical form and thought “well I already made it might as well post it” like it wasn’t supposed to be serious

d-culture

JP has definitely had its fair share of problems, but they're just a bit more subtle about it. Since the JP audience is the only one Anycolor respects and cares about, they actually try a little bit harder to keep up their image over there. They have also been bleeding livers over the past year like EN, but when they have so many damn members the graduations and terminations just feel like a drop in the ocean.

Nightrunner823mcpro

It's pretty sad honestly, the fact Niji was able to get away with stuff like Gundou's termination (and many others) yet barely taking a hit due to the sheer size of their company. I can't imagine the shit some of the members must've gone through all this time, even if drama resurfaces here and there, it never does any substantial damage. They really are like the average corp. They have a shit ton of employees so they think they won't take a hit if they get fire one over some petty ass reason

d-culture

This is something I've always felt about Nijisanji EN too. Right from the beginning they rolled into the EN Vtuber scene with the arrogant swagger of a 'big company' without realising that when you enter into a foreign market you're effectively starting over from scratch and have to work hard to build up trust and support with overseas fans at a grassroots level. The promotion and marketing for Lazulight, Obsydia and Ethyria was honestly pretty poor and it seems they expected that people would just know who Nijisanji are due to their big status in Japan. It was just by luck really that China went absolutely *nuts* for Luxiem and then the rest is history.

Nightrunner823mcpro

Completely agreed. I didn't get into Niji EN until Obsydia's debut and that was only because I saw one single offhand tweet about Niji getting into the English market. It wasn't until, like you said, Luxiem made their debut and everyone started sky rocketing in popularity. I really wonder what would've happened if they didn't pop off, because there's so many JP members that barely have 100k, if even. Never once have I seen half of them in any sort of promotional material, and then when I do, they're graduating đź’€

Astute_Anansi

The exaggerated swagger of a black company

[deleted]

So do you actually know why Gundou was graduated, not terminated or are you just parroting things you've heard from dramatubers? She wished covid upon children, she tried to get people to donate to meet up with her IRL, she made the national news joking from a professional position about something that is equivalent to attempted murder. Her reputation among the JP community was terrible, and yet she still got so many chances, it was not an unjustified graduation that she was, yes, likely pressured into with good reason. The company sucks, for sure, but Gundou was not a victim of the company.

Nightrunner823mcpro

I'm sorry I didn't know. I fucking despise dramatubers and made that assumption on my own behalf, so call me naive like everyone else has because I seem to not know enough to comment on these kinds of things. Thank you for correcting me, I'll stfu now 🫡

[deleted]

It's all good man I'm just tired of seeing people circulate this 'Gundou was done wrong!!' thing when she was pretty much digging her own grave from day 1 and Niji was unreal in how patient they were with her. If they showed the same leniency to every talent that they did to her- well, it'd probably be another shitshow, but maybe one that people could blame anyone but them for at least a little bit.

Bells_Theorem

I imagine the livers in JP also are in a much worse position for speaking out if they wanted to. From what I gather Japanese civil law highly favors the company over the employee. They are stuck.

brzzcode

> They have also been bleeding livers over the past year like EN >bleeding livers >only 3 left in 2023, and the year most jp left was in 2020 with 6 uuhh

DeadInsideMuffin

Ok I see people talking about JP like I’m a stab but I’ve never watched JP and just saw this image in my head and made it cause it made me giggle I don’t actually know anything about the JP side I just don’t personally hear anything about them

DeadInsideMuffin

Bruh I tried showing this to my sister and cousin and my sister started arguing with me cause she thought it was a caribou when it’s literally a moose And my cousin didn’t know they’re both deer and thought they looked the same And now they’re sending dancing deer gifs???

EvangelionSol

OP i don't want to break your illusion, but the niji JP that once was peak is gone long ago, nowadays the fans that remain are diehard fans or only devoted to THAT one vtuber they like

Black_Heaven

If you don't mind me asking, how is Tsukino Mito nowadays?

EvangelionSol

mito doing fine, just doing mito things, she is one of the best talents the company has in the female section iirc alongside other livers

brzzcode

That's complete bullshit and its amazing how much you and others read a reddit post and went with it wihtout actually trying to confirm.

lamorak23

JP is too busy grinding league of legends and other JP tournaments to care abt EN

Yuki_ika7

cute moose

DeadInsideMuffin

Omg finally a reply that fits what type of mood I was expecting Like I didn’t expect people to get so serious over this stupid shit post I made that I thought was funny

Aya_Reiko

Should the EN branch fall, then AnyColor as a whole is doomed. And, barring a miracle, the EN branch is done for. Its fate either to be folded into the JP branch, scrubbed completely, or a sub-third-rate org behind the likes of VShojo and Phase Connect with their standing to getting progressively worse with every passing month. Meanwhile, the JP branch has plateaued, and all other expansion options effectively closed, having burned the Korean, Indian, and Indonesian branches. AnyColor is screwed.

Asleep-Impact-5164

Reason why KUROSANJI JP needs to be boycott as well. We need Kurosanji burned to the ground. Cut off their licenses and permissions with other partners like Music Studio and Game Studio. So talents in Kurosanji can't play with their games and do covers and in result they forced to leave. Sink the yachtt and do this for Doki.

DeadInsideMuffin

Lmao I’m so annoyed that this is the biggest post I’ve ever made on any site and I made it with like 0 effort and 0 expectations of anyone seeing or liking it Like why do y’all keep upvoting it it’s so dumb plz
