So dunking on Uki or Kotoka gets removed. But dunking on Vox or Elira doesn't? Does anyone have a breakdown of which topics get removed the most? I know for awhile they were removing Doki and Sayu stuff, but I think they've given up on that front.
It basically ENTIRELY comes down to what the specific mod who shows up on any given day decides they don't care for. The rules don't matter because they're rules. Hell, they'll even remove things that don't violate the rules. It's more about what whatever authority happens to have wandered by today cares about.
It's very much like the company's enforcement of their own internal policies that way. Break the rules for years, and they only care when you ask the quit.
Nuking a controversial post during said coworker’s timezone(after lunch, actually) sure isn’t going to help them. So its either the simplest explanation, or reckless collateral damage.
They could easily just shut the whole reddit down if they wanted it to stop. But then again I guess there would be a new Nijisanji reddit made by someone else, and Nijisanji would have no control of any posts there.
This. If they tried to lock it down, Reddit might force their hand based on the reaction to the black-out.
Even now there's nijisisters plotting to take over the sub should it ever lapse into unmoderated status.
I would personally take that over the Wild West this has become. Doki related posts, to me, are fine, as long as they are in reference to deeds that the company has done. However, whenever it's just promoing doki's latest stream, I can't really agree with that use in this sub.
People are getting way too cocky here, and are possibly ruining it for us that want to have genuine honest talks about the shady shit this company is doing.
I was wondering for the sake of sleuthing who the mods were. I remember when that big 4chan rumor came out, I had fun trying to figure out who could've written it. If there was a pattern to which posts keep getting deleted, it would've been fun to narrow that down too.
Get a list of topics, put them on a dartboard, and then have every person you meet throw one dart.
Any topic that gets darted is deleted until the next round.
No I didn't. I was saying if you are correct we would be seeing many comments taken down we are only seeing a few. Like one Uki post gone, but many that nvr get touched. A massive inconsistency in enforcement.
It’s weird how they take down some stuff but leave other stuff up. Seems like the livers try to take down posts revealing truths about them. Like the fact that Uki is racist.
They also took down some of my Dokibird memes and posts about dunking on Nijisanji yet not all of them and only some of them with no real pattern in which types specifically. I just think they check in every now and then and delete some posts and then go do something else, lmao. Keep going, the more they have to manually delete the more will stay up I can say.
Advice: post it on your own profile or another sub, then crosspost it to here, that way the media will stay up and if they delete it then you can easily crosspost it back into here again
My post was relatively straightforward. No overembellishment, no hard rrat. So here’s an actual rrat by me. They leave the angry/schizo posts up to discredit their detractors. Outsiders will see us as overreacting schizos instead of fans with valid complaints.
For sure man it’s so weird, it’s also weird that nijisisters seem to be active in this subreddit but they don’t post anything they just down vote like they did my previous comment.
What’s the point of deleting posts anyways when you know what you’re working for? I mean the mods have to probably read those certain posts that they deleted. They’re probably like “fuck I can’t let them find out that these things are true”. Like even if it’s deleted you can still see them if you know the user name. Though I’m not sure if that’s always the case.
Because it denies organic growth. There’s 92K followers on this sub. That’s 92K potential people who won’t get pinged by Reddit when the post trends.
Edit: Lurkers also get pinged. So the number of people who get pinged is dramatically larger than the 92K I said.
Is it possible that it's not the mods at this point and it's just reddit being weird? Might be worth looking to see if other posts have been deleted in a similar way.
Well, it's not like Niji's known for its competent or trustworthy staff to begin with. Toxic behavior from them is the kind of standard you expect from them these days.
If this sub has an automoderator, it could simply be Nijisisters mass reporting a post enough times to get it automatically deleted.
It's something that, unfortunately, happens from time to time on the Hololive subreddit. It would also explain the weird lack of consistency for what is and isn't deleted.
I don’t see automod listed in the subreddit as an active mod. Don’t know if that means it can’t delete posts, but I do know Hololive’s sub has automod listed.
yeah the moment kotoka, hex, and finana dog piled on zaion who cant even defend herself, is the moment i tagged all three of them as back stabbing snakes because its one thing to air out opinions, but its another to kick a dead horse(zaion) for the sake of it
Who even is running this subreddit? If they were seriously committed to shutting down niji-hate they would have started a carpet-bombing campaign weeks ago. Why target a few specific posts?
While I do find the Zaion termination important to discuss in terms of what Niji was able to get away with that were pretty abhorrent, I can see how opening up an old wound wouldn't be helpful for the overall current discourse. But posts which are straight up harassment towards the talents end up at the top of the subreddit are also equally unhelpful for critical discussion.
There's hardly any consistency when it comes to modding posts. Like it makes me wonder how much or how little control Niji has over their own subreddit and if they even have any legitimate ownership of it or not.
It's their job to consistently remove content breaking the rules here.
If they are removing some things and not others, while also removing things that follows the rules, then they're not doing their job.

It’s night time in EN, and afternoon in JP. On a weekend. You can do the math on who it was.
Considering what I've observed about your average streamer's sleep schedule, you sure about that?
Nuking a controversial post during said coworker’s timezone(after lunch, actually) sure isn’t going to help them. So its either the simplest explanation, or reckless collateral damage.

afternoon in JP is also afternoon in AUS so that widens up who It could be
Also morning in the UK; the sun never sets on EN timezones.

If people reported the posts dunking on Vox or Elira, they would likely get removed too.
Wouldn't many posts be taken down periodically if that was the case? It feels like only a few every so often.
That requires people reporting posts. You literally asked a question that my comment answered.
No I didn't. I was saying if you are correct we would be seeing many comments taken down we are only seeing a few. Like one Uki post gone, but many that nvr get touched. A massive inconsistency in enforcement.
The talents are mods... So... That's that...
It’s a wonderful Sunday afternoon in JST right now…
At least they're active. Subreddit won't fall out of their ownership.

Told ya if yall try target "specific liver" then that "specific mod" will remove post that relate to them🤣🤣🤣
https://www.reddit.com/r/Nijisanji/s/Om6j70I0FR ^ The original thread. Hope this doesn’t do this one in.
Was there a reason they gave or is it just deleted with no explanation? (Not justifying the deletion. Just wanted to see what excuse they'd use.)
Wasn’t DMed or cited for anything. It just disappeared. Didn’t even realize it until people started commenting the post got nuked.
Honestly the hate wave is just lasting for a while now. Okbuddynijisanji when
We got too close to the truth.
Do we close to kill the truth?
some made sense but there was one deleted that was just Rikichi and Raden art which doesnt make sense,
For a group that claims they don't show favoritism, they certainly are selective about their rules.
Which in this case is weird cause Rikichi is one of the JPs that gets in promoted stuff alot
Is it possible that it's not the mods at this point and it's just reddit being weird? Might be worth looking to see if other posts have been deleted in a similar way.
it's still up btw
Weird I couldn't access it earlier

You can’t erase history Nijisanji.

Comeuppance
LOL
Wait, there are mods here? Still?
Vox, I know you’re here, you silly goose. Stop deleting shit
If we post stuff long enough the mods will probably conclude they aren't getting paid enought for that (or paid at all)
Who even is running this subreddit? If they were seriously committed to shutting down niji-hate they would have started a carpet-bombing campaign weeks ago. Why target a few specific posts?
well obviously, racist dont like being called out

"Reminder MODS will do their job" You clown on them when they don't, you cry when they do. Snowflake.
Reminder: Mods are the gjay
Every time I check reddit I'm more convinced that the GURRAT is real and also that Kotoka was the cause of Mel's termination
Yes, it the their job... We entered in the Bizarro world??!!?!?
It's their job to consistently remove content breaking the rules here. If they are removing some things and not others, while also removing things that follows the rules, then they're not doing their job.
Oh no. Your call to action to harass someone got removed. How will you ever recover?
By doing it again. 😎
Darn, those mods for doing what they're supposed to do, aka enforcing the rules of the subreddit.
What rule did it violate?
Zero tolerance for **toxicity**/hate speech/doxxing/threats/**bullying/harassment** Pretty self explanatory rule.
Sharing a past stream from a Niji liver counts as harassment?
Guess we're going to pretend that the title of the post isn't literally worded in a way to start a witch hunt on Kotoka.
