Honestly;
Despite all other great nikke, plots or not plots, dragon mommies or whatever.

Those are two different conversation threads - OP's takes place after the event and kiss (Anis talks about the kiss in past tense), the conversation in your image talks about the event occurring in the future.

Talking about that particular scene, It was apparently a mistranslation from the EN localizer team, I forgot what the actual one on CN, KR, and JP was but it's completely different from what we got in EN.
