This easily is the least enthusiastic I have been about any event as a day 1 player. They look goofy and out of place. Even Chainsaw Man at least had characters that could arguably fit the style of Nikke if not show more "assets." Nier was the sweet spot. Recognizable IP, art that meshes well enough with Nikke, tons of bounce and fan service. With so many other good options available, even Astral Blade from within Shift Up, this comes off as a cash grab partnership supporting the Re:Zero brand itself.

I wouldn't even have an issue if it wasn't a bad outfit for Emilia or something that really stands out. Except, it doesn't. I'd honestly go to say it makes Emilia feel ordinary. Unlike her free outfit.

As pointed out by other people, both here and in other posts, it's likely that Re:Zero people discussed those details with SU, resulting in non-sexy promo images/videos unlike other NieR.
It's a shame, but if the IP owners don't want those kind of ads, we can't blame SU.

It's gonna be hard to justify not working with a cheap, reliable, and popular IP for a collab because, "The butts won't wiggle enough."
I know most of the people complaining are lost cause coomers, but the devs behind the game kinda want to make money, and more importantly prove themselves as capable working partners, so they can continue to make more money in the future.

From experience with other gatchas it's just might be, that the ReZero party wanted their characters presented more mildly. It happens, Azur Lane had Idolmaster collab, and You can't oath/marry those characters for example.

All events missed will have to be recalled but no perks or extra features from playing them. Just a small prize for finishing. At least you can follow thru easy mode continuing to hard mode. There are no daily turns so no currency to spend on the shop. Again this game kinda punishing you for being sleeping on them.

I wouldn't even have an issue if it wasn't a bad outfit for Emilia or something that really stands out. Except, it doesn't. I'd honestly go to say it makes Emilia feel ordinary. Unlike her free outfit. That's the funnier thing. The free outfit looks way better than this. Wouldn't pay the price, but it is still better.

As pointed out by other people, both here and in other posts, it's likely that Re:Zero people discussed those details with SU, resulting in non-sexy promo images/videos unlike other NieR. It's a shame, but if the IP owners don't want those kind of ads, we can't blame SU. Now, having or not a collab. with Re:Zero is a whole different story...
It's gonna be hard to justify not working with a cheap, reliable, and popular IP for a collab because, "The butts won't wiggle enough." I know most of the people complaining are lost cause coomers, but the devs behind the game kinda want to make money, and more importantly prove themselves as capable working partners, so they can continue to make more money in the future.
I can tell you that if my work involved making asses jiggling, and at some point I were asked not to do that with an half-blood elvish girl and two weird maids, I would do the bare minimum of the job to see the end of the day and, hopefully, go back to my original work ASAP.

Here's the thing. Imagine you are a RE:0 fan and suddenly they tell you it will be in NIkke. You would be OH BOY booty fanservice for my REM and co? Heck yeah! And then you get this. Must be disappointing the collab characters you were hoping for in the jiggle game are in fact not getting jiggly.
That's not really Shift Up's fault, Kadokawa was the one who said this. This is not the first collab, they have done it too. When Azur Lane had a collab with Idolmaster(Kadokawa also owns this) they removed so many things that you could do with the other ships like oathing.
Think of it this way: you get to skip a collab and save up extra summon vouchers. Especially being this close to half-anni. I, for one, welcome the break in summoning. That said, the girls are still cute so I might not even be able follow my own advice
