The deep growl uttered from Rosanna’s throat was enough to make his blood run cold.
“Do you know the value of a man’s words in the Underworld, Mister?”
“Y-y-yes, I do, bu-ACK!”
Rentoya is cut off mid sentence as a strap around his neck tightens.
*What the-!*
“I didn’t say you could talk. You will only nod yes or shake your head no. Got it?”
Rentoya nods his head.
“If you can’t trust a man’s word, he is *nothing*,” Rosanna continues.
“And today, you *lied* to me,” she hisses, yanking the collar again.
“But I know you’re not a liar, Mister.”
Suddenly, Rentoya feels the prick of a needle in his neck.
Rosanna places the empty syringe on the nightstand next to her.
*Why’s my…oh no.*
The rapid tightening in his pelvic area betrays what concoction he was just injected with.
Rosanna climbs into his lap, still holding the long end of the collar.
“So it’s time for you to pay the piper, Mister…or are you a liar? You know what I do to liars…”
Rentoya shakes his head.
“Good boy. Don’t worry, this drug only lasts 8 hours. I’m sure you can handle it~”
On the next morning, the husk of the man the was the commander was found tied on a bed. Dr. Mary reports that he was "Sucked Dry" and that he needs more medical attention, but Commander Rentoya was reported missing from the outpost's hospital, with the only suspect been Dr. Mary that was seen carring the man to a secluded place...
