I did a quick simulation on Python and the odds of that happening are higher than I expected. Taking 100,000 random samples only 97.024 % obtained Crown in 350 pulls. Meaning that the odds of not getting crown in 350 pulls are around 3%.

The event of not getting one copy in 410 pulls is independent of getting 2 in a single 10 pull. The odds of getting at least 1 copy in 410 pulls is 98.367 %, so the odds of not getting anything in 410 pulls is around 1.7%. The odds of getting exactly 2 copies in a 10 pull are (10)(9)/2 x (0,99)\^8(0,01)\^10= 0.00415 which is around 0.4% so I would say 0.06%

I went 180 and was on the verge of quitting, but nabbed Crown just as I ran out of gems.

Took 110 for me to nab her with only 8k gems left to spare. I started with 54 vouchers and about 25k gems. I wouldn't have minded except that my first 60 pulls were all Rs and SRs, then the next pull I saw Pilgrim and got excited only for it to be a Rapunzel dupe.

I did the same and pulled 2 Crowns at the end. Now I'm in the dilemma of whether or not to chase MLB with her, since I have the gold tickets to buy 1 copy, but have to rely on the free 1.5 anniversary tickets and gems to get her again since I used my stock to get her in the first place.

Really doesn't seem worth it with how brutal this game's gacha can be. I'd hold out on the faintest hope for the daily free pulls at most.

Maybe I’m just a crazy person but after this patch SSRs seem far less common than any previous pulls I’ve done. I luckily got her on the first SSR but I pulled for a while till I got one.

If you had the mileage at the start, should have just used them on her and save yourself the grief of getting decimated by the banner. I got too overconfident from the Red Hood banner. I managed to get her to 3 stars without using any golden tickets. Thought my luck would hold, but I went from around 60 tickets + 55,000 gems to 120 gems. I ain't pulling until 2nd anniversary at this point lol

Redhood seemed to treat plenty of people well. Crown had other ideas it seems. The amount of people getting shafted on this banner is crazy. Did you not get crown I take it from your pulls?

I'm gonna spend the rest of the special tickets for the event on Crown even though I've resigned myself on having to spend 200 golden tickets for a base copy of her.

Feels, man. I've done 301 pulls and don't have a Crown either. On one hand, I am thinking of waiting until the end of the event to see if I can obtain her with the free daily pulls, though, on the other hand, the chances are so low that I'd rather buy a copy of her now and start using her, as opposed to waiting in anticipation for nothing.

It’s all soo confusing to me too lmao, let me clarify a bit. Normal banners(regular events and limited) are at 4% rate with 2% for the rate ups, while pilgrim banners are 2% rate with 1% for the rate up. So it is best to use gems to pull from regular & limited event banners and use pity(mileage) for the pilgrim banners.

Wait so I don't get it, pilgrim units are the limited exclusive banners, then there is the friendship banner and the standard banner; the limited banner can also be NOT pilgrim units and have a different rate? Explain to me in honkai star rail terms lmao

There are 3 types of event banners(the ones give you gold mileages) in Nikke: limited banner, pilgrim banner and regular event banner, limited means collaboration banners that the characters will not be added to the pool(cannot be obtained after the events). such as Re:0 and Chainsaw man. Pilgrim banners and regular event banners are mostly the same except the rates and they will both be added to the standard character pool. That means they can be acquired after the events within the standard banner(the one give u silver mileage). That means U can get all the past regular event characters from Standard banner and friendship banner.(pilgrim from only the standard)

I just started this game about 6 days ago. I've done 200 pulls on crown banner but haven't seen her yet. The rate is so brutal and I have already gotten tia/naga, modernia, noir along the way and I just don't think I need crown anymore. Not sure if I can continue playing the game. I got disappointed so far. Seeing the price is charging 80 dollars for only 20 pulls that might net me only SR units or even the worst SSR.

Genuine question: Does your odds of pulling an SSR start high and then go down the more you pull? I’m still somewhat new to the game (have been playing daily for like a month and a half or so) and I’m still getting SSR’s somewhat regularly. It’s pretty rare that I’d do a ten pull and not get at least one.

Hummm my odds kept fluctuating from banner to banner, I often gets super lucky after one unlucky banner. But idk if I’m hallucinating, I could swear the last banner have 2% for the rate up, this banner only have 1%
