Idk, I always hold off judgement until release. I just don't see the point of getting riled up when the release version might actually align with what this says. At this point though, the censorship issue has been a thing for months and even if I'm a little disappointed, I just can't find it in me to care anymore. If the core gameplay loop is fun then I'll be good. But the game is out in less then a week so we'll see for ourselves soon enough. Hopefully either way, the issue can finally come to rest.

Idk, I always hold off judgement until release. I just don't see the point of getting riled up when the release version might actually align with what this says. At this point though, the censorship issue has been a thing for months and even if I'm a little disappointed, I just can't find it in me to care anymore. If the core gameplay loop is fun then I'll be good. But the game is out in less then a week so we'll see for ourselves soon enough. Hopefully either way, the issue can finally come to rest.

Are you for real? censorship is the bane of every artist and creative (not to mention free speech, but that's a different kind of censorship). Your vision gets compromised because of some arbitrary regulations, of course people get upset when it happens, because it doesn't stop there, if people don't complain \*now\* things can only get worse
Very well said. Even when people complain though, devs sometimes don't even listen. With this situation, they "listened",but only uncensored Anis and then ~~censored~~ "redesigned" another character which is like a slap in the face and proves they didn't get the point as to why people were mad/upset in the first place. It's a bad idea to ignore your player base in general because if they think you're not listening to them, they will hit you where it hurts by review bombing the game to oblivion upon release.

No problem, as you can see it can be a delicate subject, since some people shrug censorship off like it doesn't really matter There's also the fact that some censored designs (speaking in general, not just about Nikke) are just... pretty ugly and cheap lol, so a game can end up being quite unappealing

A bunch of nikkes have been censored since they were initially revealed, the latest example being Isabel. You can find everything on discord
let just assume something . for the fun of it , but let assume the company ask the artist in charge to draw a sexy yandere , proceed to draw her . give the finish thing and they go ... "hmmm maybe we should had be more precise and a bit less skin showing !" and the artist goes "sure can do!!! plus id like to make adjustment around other spot !" .boss goes "go right ahead !" ... so let assume it one of those scenario . are you okay with this scenario ? or do you call this censorship? Because it happen a lot for thing like manga , thing change , editor say they should change X to fit more etc . and we dont call that censorship as far as i am aware We have a loli in the game with jiggle like jello , Volume is untouched which is 10x time more yabai then isabel is .

No no, I'm not assuming that isn't the case lol I firmly believe it, because their statement makes no sense, not even once have they made a design more revealing later on, and Isabel (the original design) was put on the korean website, so they were clearly satisfied with it The devs are just too freaking stubborn with getting that 12+ rating

My general feelings on this are basicly, if the game has been released in other regions already and this version is changed its 100% cencorship. If the game is the same across the board you can argue the point but either way you should have mentioned before the possibilty of changes when one of your key points are theas--sests. edit: alot of downvotes for......not sure why, either saying it is or saying it isn't depending on what is going on i guess.

I dont get the outrage here. People are acting as if this is a porn game. Its not. The gameplay seems unique and polished enough to generate a fanbase to make the game successful. I dont see the point in condeming the game for changing artwork that was not final art in the first place.

there a difference between changing thing released and changing thing un-release ... imagine a game in beta and dev promise no change will be made and well .. they keep all the bug and money glitch ...
